FIFTH PLEA in 5 weeks - I am saddened by the fact that STILL no one has offered to help this poor dog........

Hi, I hate to ask this but we need somebody to take a 70lb. pitbull rather quickly. We picked him up about 5 months ago running loose. When we picked him up it was not our intention to keep him. We have been looking for his owner and no luck, and he doesn't have a chip. We're getting desperate to place because now he is jumping the fence and we have to keep him chained. He hasn't hurt any other dogs, he is just a nuisance to other dogs and owners. And people being scared of this kind of dog, we are scared of getting reported to humane society. He is neutered and seems to do ok with other dogs. If you don't have room or can't point me to somebody that can take him, my only option (I don't want to do) is take him to the pound. So any help would be greatly appreciated!!! He stays in the garage when we are gone during the day. Just last night I let him out for, no joke, 5 minutes and went to let everybody back in and he was gone. I didn't hook him up because it was raining so bad I was thinking he would stay in the yard, but no - gone. And he goes out with the other dogs, so it's not like he's by himself when he is out. We have been trying to rehome him since we can't find an owner. If we were keeping him we would cough up the money somehow to hot wire the fence, but we just don't have the money to spend. Our options are running thin...

Tank is approx 5 yrs old. He is very good with other dogs. I tried talking them into making him an indoor dog and leash walking but thats a no go. He needs somewhere to go ASAP before he ends up in the already full Cobb County AC. Please let me know and I will put you in touch with the folks who have him.
