i have a situation with my pitbull and i was wanting to get other peoples views on this i had some police officers come to my house they said they was sent there for a 911 hang up when they got there they did not knock on my door they went to my backyard where i have beware of pitbull signs even though my dog has never attacked anyone or any of my other 2 pitbull or 3 cats i have according to them my dog tryed to attack them and they shot him 2 twice in the back as seen in the picture he is still alive but is not the same dog after this has happen we was aggresive when i took him to the hostpital i was not sure if this is because 4 strange people came in my yard and shot him but since then he has not been the same around strange people and have became real protective over my kids if he hears them crying or such he rushes to them but i am also scared that he might become agressive towards my family if anyone has any comments feel free to email them to me at jaysonmarliere@aol.com

Hello! I have a Blue Pit Bull and a Shih-Tzu. They are the greatest dogs ever! I agree with everyone that says that its NOT THE DOGS ITS THE OWNERS! I think that instead of people trashing Pit Bulls cause their owners dont know how to train them should get a Pit just so they can see how great these dogs are! They should have harsher punishments for people that fight and kill these dogs its those people that make these dogs get bad names!!!!!

i have the most amazing experiance with pits i have a prefrence for animals ppl dont like i want so much to prove like humans animals are wut u make them and nothing more u can sit here and say this one type is bad ya know i want to try and get the state laws banning pits wiped off the book its not fair punish the bad guys not the whole species this is like freak animal racism or some shit lol its funny but its not no ones gonna tell me i can have my dog where ever i am!!

In the pic is my pit mix, Vader. Vader is almost 100lbs (and he knows it!) Before we rescued Vader, I had a pit for 13 years. That dog was my best friend. I could have never asked for a better friend. So smart.

My mother used to say Kristy now stay away from those Pitt Bulls. But i never did. If I was driving and I saw a Pitt Bull well trained and behaved I picked he or she up and took he or she to the vet. I'm in vet school so I know a little about dogs behaviors and other animals. Pitts are not so bad. My Mom scared me for a few years until I was 10-21 of age, so don't let anyone make you scares of an animal and then if you are you'll miss out of a lot. I've learned my lesson about Pitts how about you?

I have a pitbull myself and it make me mad when people say how evil they are!! I just want to bust them in the mouth

I know...I read Gages story last night and I thought about it of and on all day. What a sad event to happen. Honestly...If something like that ever happend to any of my dogs, I don't know if I would have the control to NOT go over the fence after the neighbor! I wish peace to Gage and his family.

I love my pit, she is very gentle natured. Valkerie has never snapped at anyone. My daughter and neices and nephews play ruff and Valkerie has never bothered any of them. It is all on how they are raised and the ones who fight them need to have the same done to them so they know how it feels. Tell me how the name pitbull can scare someone so much but yet 2 stray German shepards attacked my daughter and a neighbor up the road tried to tell the dog warden that they were sweet and innocent.

i love pitbuls and i dont like when people do dog fighting and when people hate pitbulls for no reason its the owners fault not thereS!
