I have an aussie/pit mix and she is the sweetest thing EVER!
the reason people use pits for dog fighting is because of their loving and trusting nature i think it is manipulating and cruel

Poor Gage - what a horrific thing to see! These photos need to be seen by the public though. They have to see the horror pets and sometimes, pet owners go through!

I love my Layla - red nose pit. She looks like Yoda and she won't get out of my bed so I can lay down! Then if I move her, she looks at me as though I'm in her way! :)

What happened to Gage and his family is horrible! I am so sorry to hear about the tragedy. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the wonderful animal. I hope justice will be served. God Bless.

Greetings! I am trying to assist a friend who has 5 beautiful pittie ladies that are in need of adoption/foster/rescue. The have currently been boarded for almost a year at different facilities. This is unfair to these wonderful gals who want nothing more than a 4-ever home. They are friendly, luvable, however, will need potty retraining in a home environment. My therapy dog is a pitt bull & when everyone heard that, they became anxious. There could not be a calmer, more peaceful, more balanced dog, she
' right up there with Cesar Millan's "Daddy".
The worst thing this dog can do to me is get her tongue in my mouth as she licks my face!
REMEMBER: IT'S THE OWNER, NOT THE BREED!

It bothers me that these beautiful dogs get put down just because of the breed.I have seen many cases where they rescued starving pit puppies got them healthy just to say they can not be adopted because of there breed and put them down , I ask how much since did that make ,and why can"t they be made to stop putting them down if they are no danger and adoptable,they are not given the rights they deserve.
