I hate it when people dont like pitbulls because they are "vicious". they only think that because of dog fights...which pitbulls were chosen for that because they are loyal and will do anything to please their master

my pitbulls mean the world to me. i think its funny when they wanna play with my american eskimo and it turns out that shes the aggressive one. shes the one that growls and nipps at them to get away from her. while the pittbulls just stand there looking at her like shes crazy. the pit bulls have NEVER tried to harm her even thou she has tried to bite my male. all he did was look at her n walked away. my pitt bulls are such big babys but a stranger would never be able to see that cuz they always shun away from me and my bf if we take the pits out for a walk. it sad that they are so hypercritical.

I love pit bulls and want one when I grow up all pitt bulls are mean they should be treated with respect

the biggest thing that we've found with our dog is that socialization is key. our pit is very sweet and great with people but does challenge other dogs when playing. try and get your dog to a supervised play class through a dog behavior group. that way you can learn when to step in and correct behavior, she/he can learn how to play with other dogs and not to be afraid and want to attack, and the person in charge of the class can help you to socialize your dog. it can be done with some hard work and positive reinforcement and you'll be a much happier pit owner as a result
