We have now opened a NEW Rescue Connection Group for rescues and volunteers. So many of the important urgent post on myspace is bumped down by breeders etc posting puppies for sale and up coming breedings. We just thought this would be another great way for rescues to connect and help these animals from all over in dier need. Please repost and join us at the RESCUE CONECTION FREE PROFILE and forums catered to rescues and the animals we all love. Dogs, Cats, Horse, And Others in need are ALL welcome to become a part of this new growing community.
We hope to see you there. We will still cross post on myspace and facebook but this forum will be all about rescues, shelters, volunteers, foster homes, and resources for all of you trying to connect!
PLEASE CROSS POST ALL OVER FR RESCUES AND VOLUNTEERS AND SHELTER GROUPS
We promise you, we will fight the BSL. We will nourish the soul and body of doggies who have had a bad start in life. We will love them, rescue them and find them loving forever homes.
This community was created to form a NATIONAL data base of volunteers to aide rescue organizations and Animal Shelters in saving our Canine friends. Our main objective is to save as many homeless animals as possible. Our goal for this community is to create a data base for transports, temporary fosterhomes, homevisits and even fund raising.A place for Rescues and Animal Shelters to be able to access this list to find voluteers in their area that can help them out. If you are an Animal Rescue organization or Animal Shelter that has a transport going or needs help in anyway, then you can post the request in the forums here. ANY ANIMAL IN NEED can be posted here along with TRANSPORTERS and Transport Info or instrucions!! There will be NO FLAMMING here as we are all after the same thing. SPREADING THE WORD IS A VITAL PART OF ANY RESCUE. We are an ALL VOLUNTARY community of people who have one common goal, saving lifes.

Touches the heart,
the sad truth about dogs...dogs will show more love and loyalty then a human will show a dog..thank god for the animal lovers out there...
dog --spelled backwords--god...
kinda makes you think dogs are gods personal stamp for ultimate love and devotion..
1 - My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be painful for me. Remember that BEFORE you buy me.
2 - Give me time to understand what you want from me.
3 - Place your trust in me, it's crucial to my well being.
4 - Don't be angry at me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your entertainment and your friends. I have only YOU.
5 - Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don't understand your words, I understand your voice.
6 - Be aware that however you treat me, I'll never forget.
7 - Please don't hit me. I can't hit back, but I can bite and scratch and I really don't want to do that.
8 - Before you scold me for being uncooperative, obstinent or lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food or I have been in the sun too long or my heart is getting old and weak.
9 - Take care of me when I get old, you too will grow old.
10 - Go with me on difficult journeys, NEVER say "I can't bear to watch it" or "let it happen in my absence". Everything is easier for me if YOU are there.
REMEMBER: "I LOVE YOU!"

Hi What a nice site. Just a reminder to everyone that is thinking about adopting a rescue animal. Not only are you saving one life. But you are actually saving two lives. .. The one you adopt, and the one you are making room for. to get their chance at a new life.
Does anyone know of any farms or large outdoor area homes any where in the us that can foster an agressive 4 year old cat?He is currently working with a feral cat specialist, taking anti anxiety meds for trial, and has been home raised since birth. He is just a little mean. And I think needs an outlet. He loves the outdoors, but his current home is in the city and they are relocating to rent a room, because of economic downfalls. He needs a home that he can roam in the barn and live out his wildcat fantasies but still be protected from weather and be feed daily. He has all his care, shots, altered...and is very healthy house cat. We think he is a wildcat in a house cats body... Anyone know of a foster or rescue or someone willing to give him a home?
To the people who dont rescue pets from shelters and pounds because they are not cute enough...
This is Duke. he is a lab coonhound mix. he was born a stray untiul he was found and brought to a pound. yes a pound. dont tell me this face is not cute. so people who are tupid enough to say homeless animals are not cute... take a look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are right. that poor defensless animals oonly wanting love and attention are butt-ugly. ya go ahead and try. thank you to all the people that help the most adorable ones. the needy ones.
About the comment 2 below by Nuri, yes I have noticed that.My friend had a shelter that closed in here area.Thye had to put down all the animals in the shelter. My friend said there were cute cats & kittens, dogs and puppies, and birds. There were so many friendly animals that would have been fought for. They were cute friendly well mannered pets.People tried to help the shelter but it was in so much dept,it was to late. That was so sad.
Here is my mush whom everyone crosses the street away from when I'm walking him down the street....lol Reactions are funny, if they give them a chance they see this is a big MUSH!
Hey Ruth: I have been on here a lot. Sometimes I think I might be a pest. I have some pictures of our new puppy with her "elf"" ears to post soon. I'm not very computer savvy. You have puppies? If so, how is that going? We may try in a couple of yea…
