We have now opened a NEW Rescue Connection Group for rescues and volunteers. So many of the important urgent post on myspace is bumped down by breeders etc posting puppies for sale and up coming breedings. We just thought this would be another great way for rescues to connect and help these animals from all over in dier need. Please repost and join us at the RESCUE CONECTION FREE PROFILE and forums catered to rescues and the animals we all love. Dogs, Cats, Horse, And Others in need are ALL welcome to become a part of this new growing community.
We hope to see you there. We will still cross post on myspace and facebook but this forum will be all about rescues, shelters, volunteers, foster homes, and resources for all of you trying to connect!
PLEASE CROSS POST ALL OVER FR RESCUES AND VOLUNTEERS AND SHELTER GROUPS
We promise you, we will fight the BSL. We will nourish the soul and body of doggies who have had a bad start in life. We will love them, rescue them and find them loving forever homes.
This community was created to form a NATIONAL data base of volunteers to aide rescue organizations and Animal Shelters in saving our Canine friends. Our main objective is to save as many homeless animals as possible. Our goal for this community is to create a data base for transports, temporary fosterhomes, homevisits and even fund raising.A place for Rescues and Animal Shelters to be able to access this list to find voluteers in their area that can help them out. If you are an Animal Rescue organization or Animal Shelter that has a transport going or needs help in anyway, then you can post the request in the forums here. ANY ANIMAL IN NEED can be posted here along with TRANSPORTERS and Transport Info or instrucions!! There will be NO FLAMMING here as we are all after the same thing. SPREADING THE WORD IS A VITAL PART OF ANY RESCUE. We are an ALL VOLUNTARY community of people who have one common goal, saving lifes.
I WILL DEFINTILY WILL!! I WILL CROSS POST SHES SO SWEET I CANT BEAR TO SEE HER GONE

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on finding my baby yellow bellied slider turtle a new home. SWe are moving to HAwaii, under military orders, & between the two, thwy say we cannot get him past customs. So I need to find a good home for him, somewhere where they will take good care of him, & have the space he needs, as when he gets older, he will get to be around a foot or so around. Please help me find him a good home, i cannot release him in the wild, he has been hand-fed, so he would die from not knowing how to fend for himself.

I have had NO OFFERS to help this poor girl! She is still a baby, 6-8 month old, choc lab/pit mix, 45ish pounds, lg size. She needs a license rescue group to step up for her or she will be PTS!! This girl was picked up stray and is located at the Henderson Cty Animal Control in Gladstone, IL. She is outgoing, social and VERY VERY SWEET! She wanted my attention the whole time I was there. She is fine with other dogs. Cats, kids and housebroke unknown. I have had another sponsor offer to cover the remaining charges for her to get completely vetted!! So please help save this girl if you can!! If you can help, please contact me ASAP at westhancockk9@mchsi.com.

Erica, PLEASE put the activist who wrote about the Gaston (ironic name) AC in touch with me...virgil.night@gmail.com. I was just made aware of Stokes County's "dumptruck gas chamber" (pictured above) yesterday, and have been continually heartbroken about the 100+ animals Gaston is putting down every week, gassing twice a day!!! Tomorrow dozens of moms & their puppies will be gassed - a horrible, agonizingly slow death. I am launching an all out campaign against the horrific NC "shelters" and their criminal mistreatment of companion animals, and need all the info and help I can get! Thanks in advance - and I invite anyone interested in joining me on this mission to contact me, too! This has gone on for so long, and it needs to be stopped NOW!
ROY is a DELIGHTFUL, adorable rednose pup, only about 1yr of age! he has been a good boy at the shelter and is just a gorgeous and spanky, fun redhead;
a kid found him in Astoria Queens, but could not keep him and handed ROY to the police, who also told the shelter staff what a nice boy he was with them..with us, he's been a little playful pup, all toys and teasing, but very well behaved: we love Roy, and all he needs is a trysty foster of 4ever home to cal his own ASAP! please, help us save ROY!
please HELP the wonderful ROY, the shelter has no TIME left for him nd we want to see him SAFE!-- offer him a HOME NOW ;0}

i totally agree that all dogs, whatever the breed, should be on a leash. i had a german shepard for 13 years and he was a gentle giant and very well trained. i had a pure pitbull for 10 years and she also was a gentle, sweet dog. i now have a pitbul…
desiree,if thats what you believe you are a fool.any dog can turn and snap at any given second.belles does not hate pits but she is correct.on the leash and totally in control,that is where all dogs should be weather it be a chahuahua or a ridgeback.
Who doesn't love happy endings? Today I blogged about my German Shepherd Dog, Tucker at http://lasrguest.blogspot.com/ Please check it out. It will warm your heart.
Hi MWS...thank you for your response to my question...and for your Christmas wishes. I had a lovely Christmas and hope you did, too. It sounds like you are a vet or vet tech and I am grateful for your response. I agree with you that the greater good…
When I was in high school, I had a film class and I remember one film titled the King of Hearts, it was a British film. You are all old enough to know this film as it was made in the 40's I believe, perhaps a bit earlier or later.
