The Woodlands Greyhound Racing Track in Kansas City,KS is closing on August 24th and they need places for many of the greyhounds. Please contact the organization listed in the message below if you can help. Also, please pass this along to anyone you think might be able to help these greyhounds out.

Thanks!

The Woodlands Racetrack in Kansas City is closing August 24th. KC REGAP (Retired Greyhounds as Pets) here in Kansas City is involved in trying to get help to as many of the dogs as possible.

There are 600 Greyhounds at the track.

Greyhound rescue estimates they will be able to get 200 into the rescue network.

The Woodlands is one of the last stop race tracks in the Greyhound racing industry, the remaining 400 will be 'returned' to the breeders and likely put-to-sleep.

They are needing as much help as they can get for fosters, adoptions, transports, etc. PLEASE contact them if you can help and forward to friends you know who may be able to help, as well.

CONTACT INFO:
REGAP can be reached at 816-763-3333 or by going the KC REGAP website.

Please feel free to pass this message along to anyone you know who might help. Crossposting is encouraged.

I live in KS and can help with transports, but am unable to foster/adopt at this time. I live in an apartment and already have two pups! If you get any more information, let me know, I'd love to help.

You have not right to belong to the ASPCA online community. Slaughter is inhumane, barbaric and cruel. I feel very sorry for anyone who lacks compassion as you seem to .Please visit http://www.equinedestiny.com and http://www.savingamericashorses.or

They're doing fine, thank you. And thanks for the info on the Wolf Lovers group. I'll go look for them. Our most recent wish list is here.
