CHAT CLOSED
Thank you so much for participating in this very fruitful discussion.

This is a great time for an interactive discussion on puppy mills. Not only is April Prevention of Cruelty to Animals month, but Oprah's recent episode on puppy mills gave them much needed exposure. This is a topic on everyone's minds, and it couldn't be more important.

Talk puppy mills with Bob Baker, ASPCA Investigator, ASPCA Anti-Cruelty Initiatives. He is a key player in our ongoing efforts to combat the cruelties of puppy mills and large-scale commercial breeding operations.

Chat FAQ:

What’s the best way to ensure I get an answer to my question?
-Post within the first hour of the discussion.

Why wasn’t my question answered?
-Unfortunately, due to the volume of questions, there probably wasn’t time. Also, for the sake of time, our expert may skip a question if a similar one has already been asked. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Why is it taking so long to get an answer to my question?
-Our expert is not a robot and is putting time and care into answering questions!

Why was my question deleted?
-Your question was most likely irrelevant or inappropriate for the topic at hand.

Why was my discussion closed?
-This is to avoid confusion. We don’t want people posting new questions in response to other questions where our expert won’t see them. To ask a question, click on “start a discussion” on the main group page. If you would like to respond to a fellow poster’s question, feel free to send them a comment or personal message.

Someone posted their question after I did and got an answer first. Why?
-Our experts try to be fair and go in order, but please understand that they have the right to answer the questions they choose.
