Help finding a home for our Lucy girl

We adopted Lucy when she was 10 mos old. She's a Catahoula Leopard mix and is now 2 yrs old. She is spayed, house-trained (doggie door included), obediance trained, and oh so sweet to my wife and me. She and our 10 year old mutt Dotty, just can't get along. We've had to take Dotty into the vet for stitches twice now, so have made the agaonizing decision that we must find a new home for Lucy. We're always the people who rescue dogs from the animal control places, we're not people who put them into that situation. Lucy is a sweet girl, but we believe that she needs to be in a one dog home. We don't know how to go about getting her into a shelter, and haven't had any luck with flyers placed all around. We need help!!!
