SAVE PADAS
Giant Pandas are endangered because the bamboo forests are being cleared for farming. Different types of bamboo die off every 40 to 100 years and because of the clearing, there are fewer types of bamboo left. Pandas often starve when the bamboo dies off. In the past they were hunted for their fur or were trained as performing circus animals. Giant Pandas are now protected by law.

When I went to the Washington DC Zoo....I spent 3 hours in the Panda area. They are so fascinating and beautiful. I am happy to do anything to help save the Panda's.

I once did an extra project on Pandas for my homework, and I ended up making my teacher quite sad about the reality of things that are happening... Oh well, every eye opened to this terrible truth is another that might help...
