Hello everyone,
I have posted some ads on craislist.com to the pets section just telling everyone about the awful abuse the elephants and other animals at the circus endure.I have been getting some positive responses. It seems like many people think these animals are happy. Its getting hard to post everyday so if anyone can help me and just post something in your city then I think that would be great. At least we can get the word out. Be prepared because some weird people e-mailed me back about how I should just leave the circus alone and who cares as long as the people are having a good time. It amazes me how ignorant people are.I am just so happy that there is group like this. Thanks for your help .

animals should not be in the circus just becouse they want too make money. like when you see one of the trainers go in the tiger cage with a chair forrsing the tiger too back up.

I weep for the poor animals in the circus. They are treated as if they have no feelings, don't feel pain, don't feel any despair, etc. They are around people and trainers whose treatment of these magnificent animals is barbaric and down right cruel----it's torture, physical and mental. We must get this stopped.

Help Stop TNT's Circus "Reality" Show Promoting Ringling Bros.!

Recently, cable station Turner Network Television (TNT) announced
plans to run a reality show featuring notorious animal abusers
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. TNT cameras intend to
follow Ringling as it travels from city to city, but you can bet
that one reality—the animal abuse—will be kept hidden from viewers.
This show will be nothing more than a lengthy Ringling commercial.
Viewers surely won't see the behind-the-scenes abuse of elephants,
tigers, horses, and other animals.

PLEASE TAKE ACTION AT:
http://ga0.org/campaign/tnt_ringling?rk=t7A%2d%5ff41e6IiE

Please contact Turner Entertainment Networks president Steve Koonin,
CEO Philip Kent, and Vice President Michael Wright Sr., and politely
urge them to abandon plans to air the Ringling reality show.

Remind them that after learning of the abuse inherent in animal
circuses, major corporations like Denny's, Lukoil, General Mills,
Burger King, Liz Claiborne, MasterCard, Visa, and Sears, Roebuck &
Co. ended their promotions of circuses like Ringling and UniverSoul.

In recent years, PETA has caught on videotape that Ringling handlers
were aggressively using bullhooks on elephants, a Ringling trainer
inflicted a bloody wound behind an elephant's ear, and lame
elephants were forced to travel and perform.

PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY AND ACT TODAY!

The unethical treatment of circus animals is getting worse everyday. If someone can come up with a solution to where we can petition this please let me know! I would love to help in anyway I can!
