~Stop Breed Discrimination!~

I made this group, because i feel it is wrong to discriminate dogs based on their breeds... There is no sense in it...

bsl Discrimination needs to be stopped based on breeds... it doesnt just stop with the American Pitt Bull, It branches out and includes Pit mixes, Staffordshire Terrior, Bull Terrier, Rottweilier, Doberman, Chow Chow, Dalmations and the German Shepherd... This needs to stop, its not the dogs fault, and it shouldnt be based on the dog breed itself, you should take a look at the owners of these breeds, the ones that abuse and mistreat them then decide what what you think. I feel they should be given a chance and not just killed because of there breed... This is wrong and there is no sense in it. American Pit Bull Terrier

Dangerous Dogs... I think Not... Someone that has not had the Pleasure of owning any of these wonderful dogs, should not be stereotyping the breed at any cost.
BSL- What you Should Know... BSL- Kills Innocent Animals...

Fantastic to see someone else speaking out. I have a German Shepherd and am appauled at how BSL is being introduced. I 100% agree that this is down to irresponsible owners/handlers.

I became so frustrated that I started selling my own T-shirts online, just to try and spread the word that BSL is wrong. You can see some of the designs in my photo gallery and I can obviously give out the web address for my site (if I'm allowed)

Great forum, keep it up, I'm right behind you and will offer any support I can.

No dog is born mean they can only be taught to be that way but see it is not just pits that a discrimimated against dogs who are not full breeds like mine she is not a full black lab though she looks it she is not considered to be a good dog where we live because she will not go in the water like any good lab would.Or she is not a good lab because she hate loud sounds like guns I'm sorry she hasn't been near a gun the loudest thing she has ever been near is fire works. So it is not just pits that get discriminated against just think of all those mutts who go with out homes because more people want purebreed dogs then mutts.

Mostly the only thing I have to say about breed discrimination is that I am way too young to have seen the ridiculous reactions I have seen. I've been told to leave places, screamed at, and ran from, even though I was only a kid with her pet. Hopefully my kids won't have to deal with that kind of ignorance.

I agree about the lack of postings. I recently signed up in the hopes to have some wonderful discussions about Gsd but I have not seen the thought provoking conversations I know we all wish for. So here is what I have been working on with my Gsd's-…
