I made this group, because i feel it is wrong to discriminate dogs based on their breeds... There is no sense in it...

Discrimination needs to be stopped based on breeds... it doesnt just stop with the American Pitt Bull, It branches out and includes Pit mixes, Staffordshire Terrior, Bull Terrier, Rottweilier, Doberman, Chow Chow, Dalmations and the German Shepherd... This needs to stop, its not the dogs fault, and it shouldnt be based on the dog breed itself, you should take a look at the owners of these breeds, the ones that abuse and mistreat them then decide what what you think. I feel they should be given a chance and not just killed because of there breed... This is wrong and there is no sense in it. American Pit Bull Terrier 
Staffordshire Terrier
German Shepherd
Doberman
Chow Chow
Rottweiler
Dalmation
Dangerous Dogs... I think Not... Someone that has not had the Pleasure of owning any of these wonderful dogs, should not be stereotyping the breed at any cost.

Hi Colette! I will be MORE THAN HAPPY to join the candle light vigil on August 24th...is there supposed to be something on April 20th? Thought I read one of the posts that said that...wasn't sure. I'm so disgusted by the ignorance of our government regarding this crap they call legislation!! I would never let go of my babies - I don't care who tells me to. I'm really angry about this. (I copied your picture links from above and posted them on my page, too). I just can't believe these people.

Comment by Amara on April 6, 2008 at 9:14am - i own a germ shep now. she is a little wild but thats because she is still a puppy and we still are still training her to our ways. i have owned countless numbers of dogs, and its never by the breed! i have owned a pit that use to be in dog fights, yet he was the sweetest dog in the world and never would harm anyone, unless they were to harm me. he was a big teddy bear that was my protector. society needs to look at these so called owners of these animals, and stop disscriminating against many breeds. even if they were to ban the breeds in my area, i would still have them, just knowing that My dogs, are wounderful and part of my family. they are my Kids.
