Help us save Clarabelle
My daughter has a dog, Clabarabelle, that she rescued about six years ago. She is part German Police and has some blue healer, etc. also.
She is a wonderful animal and the family loves her dearly. She is a wonderful watch dog. However, she attacks any dog any time one gets near. My daughter is desparate as she attacked a small dog recently that a child brought into her back yard. And, all of the children were there. But she has attacked other dogs.
One of our biggest fears is that one of the children could get hurt if they just happen to between Clarabelle and another dog.
My daughter just lost her husband last week and they desparately need to do some thing. They had to put Jake, their lab of twelve years, down about a month ago. She is hoping beyond hope that she could be trained out of her aggressiveness. She is a very smart dog and can easily be trained.
Can any one give us a ray of hope. Please email me at franprat@stx.rr.com. I am running back and forth and might not be able to get back here soon. They are looking for some one in the country, but the kids need her, too. My daughter wants to get a small puppy for the kids, but doesn't have time to research to find what would fit in with her lifestyle. Also, any suggestions for a small cuddly breed that is not hyper and loves children would also be appreciated.

well...i think that a bichon would be excelent.they are smart,easy to handle dogs,perfect for children.if u don't want a hyperactive dog,choose one that's 2 years or older.you can grab one from a killing shelter,they're often great dogs there that deserve a chance for life.i don't know what to say 'bout clarabelle,she needs to see a dog psychiatrist,search the net for one.how old is she now?tell me more about her.oh,i saw her lab has died,so you can join my group,,unforgetable'' to remember him!

Maybe. I myself checked out the website and they seem to be a great place, but the numerous amount of dogs in such a small seeming area does bring me to wonder.

More like New Years Resolutions to break for me, but I plan to spend more time out in the "real" word instead of online, and to extend my knowledge of horses/animal health. I guess it wouldn't hurt to pull my grades up a bit, either.
