Stopping Guillermo Vargas Habacuc

Guillermo Vargas Habacuc's idea of "art" is starving dogs and putting them on display for everyone to see. Someone has to stop this! Go to http://www.petitiononline.com/ea6gk/petition.html to sign the petition to stop this.

In 2007, the 'artist' Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took
a dog from the street,
tied him to a rope in an art gallery, and starved
him to death.

For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of
the exhibition have
watched emotionless the shameful 'masterpiece' based
on the dog's agony,
until eventually he died.

But this is not all... the prestigious Visual Arts
Biennial of the Central
American decided that the 'installation' was
actually art, so that
Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat
his cruel action for the
biennial of 2008.

PLEASE HELP STOP HIM!

Does this look like art to you?

You can see a piece of Herman Nitsches art here, but this picture is disturbing, be warned. Much of his art is even worse...

I have to agree with Robert, and the question is not "where is the police" the question is where are the people?
Everybody saw this poor dog and hundreds could have helped the dog! BUT NOBODY DID! Who is the real monster here!?
Also, the visitors were normal people, not animal abusers or anything. Human beings like me and you! This artist shines a light on the darkness of humanity. He raises awareness.
Should the dog have died? No.
But still...he is not a monster, I would actually go that far that he may helped animals through that.

Here is some real animal abuse in art I would worry about more:
Hermann Nitsch he kills animals, mostly pigs, regularly at his blood orgies. And his motives are not to get a message about animals out or to help them

Between six and eight million dogs and cats enter animal shelters across the United States each year. Of these, approximately three to four million are euthanized.
Those are the facts. All of you animal lovers need to get a grip on reality. Your lifestyle kills MILLIONS of pets every year, even though you (individually) have not. And, what do you do when someone tries to inform you of the millions of pets that starve, and die of neglect every year? You say this is not art, that Guillermo is a "sick bastard."
Guillermo Vargas Habacuc is a champion of dogs, a dog lover above anyone who supports puppy mills, buys a new dog instead of taking one from a shelter.
LOOK at his message. Research Guillermo's actual motives. Find accurate information about art and artists from another source.
Guillermo is a hero for invoking your emotions.

So my question is, "where are the police??" How is this leagal?? When poeple do it to other people it is considered abuse! Why is this not? how did this go so far as for the animal to die? Why did no one save him??

That is not art!! This is animal abuse!!

This is horrible! How could you stand to do this? This is most definitely not art, how could anyone say it was okay? That's like saying abuse is fine!
