I have been feeding a young female kitty since I moved at this apt, since last nov...Her first liter was adopted by the landlord..Who owns the young female... Now she's on her second liter, which were born in the basement of my apt... I have no way to get in the basement.. The landlady keeps it locked... Today I heard the kittens crying... They got to be 6 weeks old or more... But the landlady won't do anything about this mess... I turned her in about her dog, being left out with no food and water.. Then one day the dog was gone... She is very ignorant and does'nt care....
Tell her that you would like to bring the cat some food as you heard it crying. Go as far as telling her that once the kittens are old enough to be placed you will help get the cat fixed.
You have to be careful with these type of people because they will just kill them as they don't care. The other thing, you can end up finding yourself out on the streets for reporting her. If you are prepared to vacant her apartment I would report her. If this was me, I probably break in as I couldn't sit around hearing a cat cry in starvation. Let her know you know she is starving the cat.
She looks like a chihuahua. it is agrevating when one sees first hand just how cruel people can be. Cudos to you for giving COCO a good home. When they come to us abused with a broken spirit and grief in their hearts and heavy baggage it is up to us to help them unpack and the reward is seeing this downtrodden soul raise its head once more and dare to be happy. Relapses will occur but they will be less and less. I wish you the very best with your Chihuahua. Lisbeth and the lads (royal quartett)
I agree with Bullies on this issue it takes courage to fight against cruelty and heart to make a diffrence. There is something else you can do and that is tell the landlady that you will be happy to take care of the cat and her kittens in future then get the female spayed and hand the kittens into the ASPCA or humane society that way you are not a threath but still helping the cats without being threathned with eviction. Best wishes and good luck with this keep us posted as to what is happening. most sincerly Lisbeth and the lads(royal quartett.
Once upon a time, I went to go get my niece as she was staying with me for the weekend. When I got there she was outback and her mom told me a puppy had been outside for at least 2 weeks in a neighbors yard. The "owner" apparently got it for her birthday and didn't want it so she threw him out in the yard with a can of corn and never came back for him, although her kids would come out every now and again to whip him with his leash. It was so sad. I asked if I could see him and she brought him in wrapped in a towel. He couldn't have been but 6 weeks old, a rottweiler pup. He looked so sad,I decided right then that he deserved better AND I TOOK HIM home with me. His stomach looked llike he ate a football, it was so swollen and mishaped from living on trash when he should have still been with his mother. He smelled so bad I had to bathe him 3 times and brush his teeth twice to get rid of the smell. I took him to the vet,who agreed that his stomach was extended that due to eating trash and being so young but was otherwise healthy. Well he grew into a wonderful playful dog. I had to give him up so I gave him to my sister because he became so big that he would hurt my pups when playing. She still has him 3 years later and he is just as healthy, playful and friendly as ever. He lives happily ever after
HI THERE,

You can always ask your vet, though and they can tell you whether he needs to be checked or not. Most probably be better to have him check. If necessary, you can always ask if you can do payments. Mine does and it helps me be able to check my pets...
