via DogLost Florida - LEVI needs a Loving Family Soon Please. This foster is not going to put this beauty down but he needs help. The dog is in NJ, please let's help get him out and give the guy and dog abreak. Please do not attack him, he wrote this under very sad conditions. Themain concern is getting Levi a new happy place to live soon.
Owner needs to get rid of "RESCUED" dog hes had for 2 years. NJ
I know we all want to rip this guy a new one, but please dont. Lets save this dog first then start ripping. After all, he has the dog and if we get angry, he can easily take the dog to be killed. Just work to save the dog. i dont care about the person, just getting the dog into a home!
If any of you have rescue contacts in NJ, PA or NY, this rescuer has reached a point NEAR the end of the rope as this dog has not found his home for 2 yrs. Steve originally said he was going to put Levi to sleep but now says he will give Levi some time. Please give this dog a chance by forwarding to all your contacts! Levi is becoming depressed and needs more attention and a home of his very own, or at least a foster home with fewer dogs. GORGEOUS DOG

Va~Fargo is a 1 year old min pin that was picked up as a stray by animal control. So far no one has come to the shelter to claim fargo as theirs. Since he was taken in as a stray there is no known medical/behavioral history on him, though ac reports he is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs.Fargo must be out of the shelter by Nov 13th.

A low cost spay/neuter certificate will be issued to adopting families at the time of adoption. WALLACE
Poor old Wallace. He must have lost his way home and somehow ended up at our shelter.He is very friendly, good on the leash and enjoys a nice walk. He is 10+ years old and weighs 55 lbs. He is a bit thin and needs to gain some weight, his eyes are a bit glazed, and he has a fatty tumor on his stomach.
Our vet said he can take care of the tumor and we can sure fatten him up and give him lots of love, but what Wallace needs is a nice, warm, home to settle in to and carry on with the rest of his life.
Wallace seems OK with other dogs and cats and keeps a tidy kennel. If someone has room for this old boy, please contact me. His stray time is up.

AJ was dumped at the shelter one night after closing. AJ ran from house to house and street to street looking for his owners. Volunteers spotted him and hoped that he would find his way home, but he found the lady down the street that turns in animals to the shelter on a weekly basis! Every dog or cat in the neighborhood gets marched in. This dog walked with her down the street, up the driveway, into the building! AJ is so sweet. She is skinny, she's been so hungry for days! Very, very friendly!! (Especially to the little old lady that turned her in) Animals at this facility are subject to euthanasia after a 5 day holding period. PLEASE call the shelter at 706-857-0679 ASAP if you are interested in adoption or rescue.
