Here is yet another case.

Please go to this link and cut and paste this to the email address on this link, this evil little sod (I am so trying not to swear) needs to have justice served.

Same here-I am so greif stricken at some of the things I've seen. One of my neighbors was actually put in jail because he was caught shooting peoples outdoor cats with bb guns...there were like 5 families that ended up with dead or missing cats. That's why I don't even think twice about taking home strays and rehabing them to find great homes for them. Because I could never live with myself if I didn't and something happened. I am sorry for your loss of her, bless you for helping her along the way <3

My Baby was a stray. I came home from work one day and this cat came running up to greet me. I reached down to pet her. I could feel her ribs (she was starving). And then I felt a bulge. I looked at her and said "You're pregnant. Follow me upstairs and we'll get you something to eat.". She followed me upstairs and waited on the porch for me to come back. It was amazing how she changed over the months. People didn't recognize her. She gave birth to 8 adorable boys. Unfortunately, the two smallest ones died. She disappeared three years later. I found out that two other cats in the neighborhood also disappeared the same month. It fills me with grief to know that someone could bring harm to such a beautiful creature. She is still deeply missed!

I take in strays all the time, help them...and then find good homes for them with people that I know and trust...none of our current animals are from pet stores...they were ALL strays and or abused at one point, or had nowhere to go. With the cold weather setting in, it's so sad to see the amount of animals without homes. Just in the last month I've taken in 3 pregnant cats, helped them...had the kittens vetted and found forever homes for all of them. They must know it cuz all the strays seem to flock over to my back yard and end up on my porch lol. Animal control won't even take cats in my town...so families like us that just want to help them, end up with them.

Strays!!! I hear that word hundred of times daily. In Mauritius, one can find stray cats and dogs everywhere.. in commercial centers, market places, on the beach.. everywhere!!!! Those poor animals just roam around trying to grab some left overs to satisfy their permanent hunger!
The charity i volunteer for PAWS ( protection of animal welfare society) has been created 10 years ago because of that evergrowing problem of stray dogs in my country. We save them from the streets, treat them ( If possible because many are put to sleep because of really bad health conditions) , spay them and organise big adoption days to find new famillies for them.
The big problem is that few people wanna adopt adult dogs, it is so sad that many do not find good homes. PAWS is funded by only donations and when there are too many animals and not enough homes and fund to care for them, we have to put them to sleep. HEARTBREAKING!!! But this is a harsh reality here.
I have fostered sooooo many cats and dogs.. i don't keep tract now because there has been so many. Strays come and go at home. From the tiny puppy abandoned on the streets to the enormous mongrel who needs socialization.
It is such a wonderful feeling of joy and satisfaction to give an animal a second chance in life.
Because everyone deserves a second chance!!!!!

A story of an ex-racing greyhound found starving to death.A devestating loss lead to me adopting an ex-racing greyhound from Spain he was supposed to have been a galgo but as it turned out it was ment to be. Connor was found starving to death in front of the maingates of the royal palace in Madrid Spain. As it turned out Connor had tatooes in both ears eventhough someone had tried very hard to erase his original tatooes with acid only to tatoo both Connors ears three to four times on top of the old tatooes. despite all this I have still managed to find his sire and most of his dams pedigree. it turns out that Connor is related to my very first greyhound who died in 1993. It was fate then there is something else today the fourth of October is the international animal awareness day and the birthday of my Connor he is now six years old and deeply loved. Yes he came with heavy luggage but through the time we have spent together his burden has become lighter and my life is complete and filled with love because of this once unwanted starving greyhound.

i just wanted to share my experience with taking in a stray,my pitbull sadie, whos 8 years old now,7 years ago my ex boyfriend was working at some factory in lakewood, and this poor ,hungry, little dog, started hanging out by the backdoor, they fed her,and my ex decided to call and ask if id take her in,of course i said yes! she was scarred, burned, she'd had puppies,(god knows what happened to them)she was so scared she wouldnt go outside, she wouldnt get in the car,it was a long hard battle to fix her,and now almost 7 years later, shes so happy,so spoiled, its so amazing how an animal is abused by humans, but are still willing to trust and love them again, shes the love of my life

I can't give any donations, but if there was a petition I'd sign it.
