On my way to my son’s open house, I turned on my radio tuned to 102.5 The Bone.(vinal) 6pm. I was blow away when they were joking about PIT BULLS saying the only good pit bull was on e you yanked the teeth out of!!! They were bragging pit bull are an abomination from hell and they were all for B.S.L. I was already blown away when they just kept going on and on and on! "You only hear about pit bull when they terrorize people" "the world would be a safer place" "No pit Bull ever saved a child" "Just listen to the news!" By then , I just had enough and turned my radio off! Lets e-mail this station and demand they stop bashing the breeds and show them that it’s not only the pit bulls. Show them the list of 75 breeds to be affected! I hope they have a husky! Or a pug for that matter! Show them it will affect them. We were able to get verizon to take that pit bull commercial off the air, we saved those pigs from being electricuted at the doctor’s convention(over 5,000 e-mails to hotel in 1 1/2 days!) YOUR VIOCE DOES COUNT! LET THEM SEE LETTERS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY! THE WORLD, FOR THAT MATTER!!

I firgot to mention, he will be 5 in October, so I have had him almost 5 years.

I have a pit/amer. bulldog mix who is so sweet and loves everyone. I have a friend who is terrified of pits and when she came over 1 day he growled at her and looked like he was going to jump at her. I had to hold him back. (Luckily he was on leash). It was the first time and only time he has growled at a person and I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. People who come over love him. Now she won't come over and she is one of my dearest friends. Do you think he picked up on her fear. He is so non-agressive, with all people and MOST, but not all dogs, (except with other male bully breeds), but other than this 1 time it has never happened again or before. I feel so bad and now all the talking up I have done with her about bully breeds doesn't matter. She will never come over as long as we have the dog.

I have 6 pit bulls and I have never owned any be for.I have to tell you they are the sweets and loving dogs I have ever had.They are my babies.

I agree with everyone's comments. I feel it's all about how you raise them. We had a male brindle Pit Bull since he was 10 wks. old but he ran away. Today he's 2 1/2 years old. We were so hurt by this, but he was so good looking and friendly we thought someone took him to their home. He always got along well with everyone and even strangers. He loved to play with other dogs and he was never aggressive with them. My friend had her puppy English Bulldog over one time, and the puppy was nibbling on him and my pit was just laying there like if nothing was happening. He was being so fatherly with him too. He's dearly missed.

my pittbull is a yr old and is the best dog i have ever had she has never tried to hurt anyone she loves people of all sorts the worst thing my dog does is lick you to death

I have a 2 year old Pit Bull that is the sweetest thing ever! He has a little big sister that is the one in the picture and she is also 2. They are the best of friends and they play and defend each other like no other. He is the best and most well trained dog of the neighboorhood. Our neighboors think that he is a bad dog just because he is a pit bull but they dont even know him. When our neighboors actually do come over and meet him they always say man i wish my dog listened as well as he does! Im proud of my dogs cause it just goes to show that its not the Pit Bull that is the problem its the human (owner) that is the problem!

I have a Pitbull, Rex, who will be 4 years old this summer. We've had him since he was 8 months old. He is VERY spoiled and loves to cuddle. We were timid at first because we'd heard so many bad things about pitbulls, but he's the sweetest dog ever! He likes to give hugs or just cuddle up to you. He can read me well too. If I'm sad he tries to comfort me by getting as close as he can and leaning his head on my shoulder (it feels just like he's giving you a hug). I've also taken him on a few hiking trips with other groups of people and their dogs, and I've never had a problem with him acting out towards any of them. He's also been around my nice and nephews (ages 2 - 6) and the only problem was that he's so big he'd knock them over. Everyone that's around him loves him because he's so cuddly. I'm so glad we gave him a chance because he is the sweetest dog ever and I love him to death!

My sweet Madison is so gentle with my bird Chico and recently my daughter has been staying with me for a couple of weeks and she has a cat...didn't even phase Madison:) She is so accepting and gentle:)

I love my pit bulls, I have four of them, which I consider my kids. I have three daughters and one son. I got my first one four years ago. My 3yr old brother and neices and nephews love to play with them. Especially when there's a litter of puppies, they love them. And the mommas let everyone play with the puppies, and never acts threatned. I hate when you hear on the news about people fighting them. I believe anyone who is cruel to animals should be locked away forever.
