THEY ARE JUDGED BY THEIR BREED AND THEIR ARE ALSO VERY ABUSED BY PEOPLE WHO FIGHT THEM AND ETC. I PERSONALLY LIKE THE BREED AND I KNOW THEY CAN BE WONDERFUL PETS AND VERY PROTECTIVE WHICH IS GOOD IN THIS LIFE TIME WITH ALL THE ----- PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD TODAY. KAREN

My sister has a 10 yr old pit bull name of Princess...she really does live up to that name. The grandchildren of my sister have never been threatened by her,,,in fact she is very protective of all those she loves. I have watched those children play with her..lay with her...lay on top of her when they were very young and still all Princess ever did was endure it. She seemed to know they were babies. When she had her own litter of pups in her younger yrs..that animal would collect toys and carry them to her bed to her pups..I was amazed but I saw this myself ..it was very touching to witness the love she gave those little dogs. Humans should be so loving and kind..she is a precious brindle pit...now getting older and tired..but still true to those around her.
