No where is free from barbarism!

Dear friends. As I am typing this news I have tears in my eyes and a void in my mind and a question in my heart. Why? How could anyone do this?. This is a night I will not forget anytime soon. I got a phonecall from a dear friend who told me to have a look at text tv news. The new is heartbreaking. The boddies of three whippets skinned completely were found by a woman walking her dogs in a remote area of Northern Jutland a place called Dokkersdalen. Near a lake the boddies of these three whippets were found. There is a reward to those with information but we all know how that will turn out. It is high time that we got animalcops here in Denmark. Henious crimes like this must be dealt with it is not known if the whippets were alive when skinned. It is a nightmare. I will do my best to spread their deaths matter they must not have died in vain. When this news hits the newsstands tomorrow there is going to be a public outcry. At least I hope so. It must be shouted from all the rooftops enough dear lord enough.

Thanks Johanna. I hope they were dead before this dreadful thing was done to them. I saw the graphic pictures it is difficult to forget in fact it must not be forgotten. It is evidence of evil being present everywhere not just a few places of this world.

Surprisingly few places lack animalcops Denmark does however and I for one do not understand why it has never been put in place it is sorely needed. The last few years have seen some henious crimes comitted against animals here and nothing has been done this case is just the latest. The pictures were heartbreaking but I needed to see them because this is the kind of thing I am fighting against all the time. It was difficult and I will never forget these three whippets how can I. I love the breed and as you know I have one whippet named Mike. Besides seeing pictures like that fuels the fight even more not with hatred but with a sense of purpose an urge to prevent it from happening ever again it fuels your anger and gives you purpose I will let you know how this is dealt with.

We can only hope Johanna. I am not expecting much of anything. The law here hardly ever show anything but a slap on the wrist it is as if there is no consequence for crimes commited against animals in this country. Sorry to sound negative but this case has realy gotten to me.

OMG Sis! im so so sorry to hear about this! this is horrible! how can someone do this? and why? I dont understand people who do this. I just hope they were not alive. It breaks my heart! *lots of hugs and puppy kisses coming your way!* You guys do need some animal cops there, and now!

We do sis and we have needed that for a long time. I have taken part in demos to point out this need with other animalwelfare groups and organisations. If anything they must see sense now. I am alerting the rest of the world in this way the news will travel to the ends of the earth and the whippet trio will not have died in vain we will make their deaths matter no one treats any animals in this manner without us making as much noise as possibel about it. I am devestated but those are the emotions that will enabel me to keep fighting for sighthounds and other breeds anywhere. This kind of cruelty must be prevented. I will Don. In order to take action one has need a certain amount of fuel. It is a sad fact that a case as horrid as this one gives you that not out of hatred but out of concern and compassion It must never be hatred as it will only lead to disaster one has to get beyond to take the apropriate actions.

The individuals who did this are obviously mentally disturbed. Maybe if the police realized that it is only a matter of time before these people start doing this to humans, they'll start taking these types of crimes more seriously and create an ASPCA in your country. Because I'm sure this was just the beginning for these monsters.

Have no fear these three whippets will not be forgotten even if it means working day and night I will make sure they are not forgotten. I have been fighting with other animal welfare organisations and rescues to get animalcops here so far we have done two demos and countless hours on the net trying our very best to get things done so far nothing has come of it it is an uphill battel all the way but rest asured we will never give up and we will keep going until things give and we reach our goal an rspca here is our aim and goal. The victims will be remembered on November 9 every year from this moment forward. Never give up never back down let your aim be true and your heart pure and you are bound to win in the end.

It is being investigated by the police but will the culprits be found and dealt with that is anyones guess. I will do all I can to alert others about this henious crime. I am hopeing that they are found and prosceuted in the strictest sense of the law. I agree it is disturbing that anyone would do something like this is beyond me. I was in tears over this yesterday. It still breaks my heart to think what these three precious souls went through. If no one else will be their voice here I will. I will make sure they are not forgotten I will do everything in my power to alert the rest of the world about this if it is all I can do at least I am doing it. I spoke to a person who is in dogrescue here in Denmark. I told her about this case and the plight of the racing greyhounds here. She is a leader higher up in the political system so something is bound to come of it. I told her straight out that it was high time that shelters here in Denmark were prepared to take in ex-racing greyhounds and if they needed any help with the greyhounds I would be more than happy to help them rehabilitate and socialise the greyhounds in question. I do not know if anything will come of it but I will keep going. Giving up at this point is not something I am prepared to do. Knowing you are here helps emensly a burden as heavy and heartbreaking as this one is best when shared that way it becomes easier to handel and act on behalf of this heartbreaking case.
