I lost my bunny, Al, on 7/15, but my bf and I are adopting a new bunny together on 8/30. So i was wondering which is the best way to travel with my bunny so i don't stress it out too much? What do you recomend? I was going to use a cardboard pet carrier, cus thats all we have, but should i use something better?

A plastic travel carrier will be safer. You would also have it available when you need to take your bunny to the veterinarian. If your bunny goes to the bathroom in the carrier it will leak through and damage the carrier, or you car seat.

Put something soft on the bottom of the carrier, and secure it so it does not slide or shift around in the car. Given that you will be traveling in August, be aware of heat and sun so that the bunny does not overheat. Keep in mind that the front of the car may be comfortable, but the back seat may have bright, strong sun, or the AC may not be as effective cooling the that area of the car.

All good ideas, thanks! I wondered myself why she didn't grab the one for $100, but who knows, maybe she has funeral expenses...?
