Obviously pets can't travel without vaccinations or rabies shots, but how young is too young to travel for the little ones? Especially when they are flying?
Federal regulations require that pets be at least 8-weeks old. They need a veterinary health certificate within 10-days of travel.
Keep in mind that the space for bathroom breaks for a dog are about 1 hour per month of age. That means a 2-month old dog can go for about 2-hours. I think it usually best to wait until a dog is 6-months or older for air transport, so it can make the time frame from loading, travel and unloading for a 2-3 hour flight.
If you are going to travel by car, you just need to keep in mind making sure that you have time for bathroom breaks, and a little bit of exercise.
