Our Mission
Our goal is to raise the money to build a new animal shelter, provide low cost spay and neuter, and find new homes for homeless animals both locally and out of state.History
Last January Ingrid and Frank visited Lori at animal control and saw that it was in need of work. The roof was bad, the cooler was shot, windows were broken out, and the electrical service was outdated. We got a new metal roof on it, a new cooler, a new electrical service, blocked in 3 of the old windows and are in the process of installing 2 new windows and a ceiling. We've managed to feed the dogs and cats through donations and have received 2 very generous food and kitty litter donations from the Nestles corporation. Since January of 2008 we have re-homed over 115 dogs and puppies, 10 cats and kittens, and a turtle.We Need Your Support!
A ny fund raising ideas and donations are most welcome. We are Spearheading Keep Tularosa Beautiful's Recycling program to help raise money. If you have a Junk Car that you'd like to donate please let us know! We are now able to accept used laptops, (even if they don't work) for a possible cash value. We are also able to accept used cellphones as well! We need to raise money for Food, Medicine and Kitty litter. We would like volunteers to help walk our Dogs now and then please contact Lori if interested!Donations

- Have you applied for the Goverment Grant which is non repayable and renewed yearlyl ? I got 1 for one of my cat rescue groups that had a 5 thousand limit but they sent 10,000 due to reputation etc/ Let me know on my page as I get so involved with animal stuff I don't come in often with all groups I belong to. U can apply for more with differant group affliate names etc. such as Dogs, cats etc bobbie
