CA proposed legislation will allow AC to confiscate any animal they believe to be a hybrid. This will also mean that law enforcement ‘officials’ will be able to seize ANY WOLFY-LOOKING canid…including Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, German Shepherds, Huskies, Akitas, Elkhounds, etc. No special training of these persons will be required…if it looks wolfy, then it is wolfy. These people will basically have the Mandate of Heaven to act and do as they will. And they will…with force of arms. It has already happened. Please help fight this legislation. U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy said Monday he would rule as quickly as he could on a last-minute injunction sought by environmental and animal welfare groups opposed to the wolf hunts in Idaho and Montana.Molloy gave no indication how he might rule on the injunction request.Last year, Molloy sided with environmentalists in a similar case! Hi everyone! Just joined the group a little while ago. We would love to make some friends. My wolf-dog is Gray Socks. She's half black timber wolf and half husky. She is almost fully black with a hint of silver on her face and silver socks on her legs, hence her name.
She is one of the sweetest and most laid back animals I've ever encountered. She is extremely sweet and loving to everyone she meets, particularly children. I will post pictures soon. Hope to get to know everyone.

I have a German Shephard and Timber Wolf she is white and has a very bad temper, my brother says she is just being protective of her pack. Can someone give me some pointers on how to let her know that our friends aren't going to hurt us. She is the love of my life i saved her from a couple that was going to put her down just because they didnt like the breed. Now she is my life I wouldn't take nothing for her. But do need help with her temper if anyone knows what i should do any help or advice would be appreicated. People of our town tells me to put her down I could never do that she is my child.

There is www.defenders.org they are trying to stop what Sarah Palin is doing. Before I found out about this I didn't even like her anyways... lol. Something about her made me feel weird.

Well for the time being I'm out of the adoption mode. I saved a 9 month old greyhound/lab mixed. I have my hands full. Apparently no one worked with on her manners. She looks like a baby sister too my other dog, murphy. It's snowing here in Iowa. We were only suppose to get an inch but we done passed that and doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon.

Well, bad news to report. The transport has been postponed. It is snowing to beat the band up there and they are forecasting a foot of snow to fall. The babies are all pacing with to many people around, one jumped the pen and ran into the woods, finally got her back, she jumped again and then into another pen with another female - Again the Lord was watching over this - they didn't fight. Finally able to leash her and get her back to her own pen. Called everything off until tomorrow to try again.

If that fails, one of the rescuers from NC will have to fly to Colorado, rent a cargo van and drive to TN to drop off 4 of the 6 to another adopter and a foster and then on to NC. If it is not one thing it is another but somehow it has been working out.
