Piccolo, Xena, Bacchus Feb 2009
I hung suet cakes outside over the winter to attrack birds for the cats to watch. Here we have about 15 European Starlings fighting over the food. Between the noisy birds and chattering cats, I don't know which was louder.

My name is Dan and I have a fancy for Mainecoons, by the way if you weren't aware of the breed of your cats, are. I'm not sure of their pedigree but the Mainecoon shines bright and clear in them even if they're not pure MC. My Smokey in my profile came from a short haired MC which I came across in 99 pregnant in my backyard in Sabattus, Maine. Three days later Smokey and two young brothers came into the world. His two brothers were both adopted by the same family. Unfortunately for my cats and I, I had to go and fall in love with someone who is allergic to cats and earlier this year, after searching for good homes for them and not being able to find one for 2 months I finally had to give them up for adoption at my local humane society. I at least, hopefully, can rest assured that they went to good homes. I just thought I would share this bit of information about your cats just incase you were not aware of their breed.
