Could be a hot spot due to scratching, best thing is to take her to the vet, probably will give her antibiotic ointment and maybe oral antibiotics depending if infected.

Hi Ashley, Just make sure they go to responsible owners, there are so many irresponsible pitbull owners thats why we have so many in the shelters.

Jennifer, smart to have your vet put mix on the records. We did the same thing when we sold our home we had to rent there was no way anyone was going to take a Pitbull, so I said she was a Lab X we had no problem.

I found this Article in regards to the Ohio ban. This is my worst nightmare. She did everything right, she had him on a leash. Did they ever find the owners of the other dog? The parents of the kids should be held responsible. Do you know if Pitbull…

Dona, Loved the Website. It's sad what some pitbulls indure. I liked the code of ethics for rescued Pits, but I think it should pertain to every Pitbull owner. Really advocates responsible Pitbull ownership.

Proud pet parent of:
HARLEY
How we met:
He stood out in a litter of 7, Lots of personality and real cute.
Pet likes:
Loves to go on walks, play in the water, loves to play with other Dogs and likes a good bone.
Pet dislikes:
The dark, gets a little jumpy at night, he's been like that since he was a little puppy.
Pet’s favorite spot:
Any where it's sunny.
Pet’s favorite toy:
A stuffed Cow, he tore that up along time ago. And also likes his kong toys. Had to switch to Kong (heavy duty)
Pet’s silliest habit:
He chews on his dew claw nail, he keeps them trimmed nicely.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When he's sleeping. When we're on walks he gently nudges my hand with his nose like a seal so I'll pet his head, when he gives kisses. And when he snuggles up to his blanket.
I crack up when my pet:
When he tried to eat the air when we put him in the back of the Truck for the 1st time. The first time he went to the snow he ate it as it was coming down from the sky.
My pet is unique because:
He's ours.

Rainbow Bridge

Dedicated to all our beloved PitBull friends waiting for us at the rainbow bridge*

The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

Aww, thanks! I've never thought myself to be terribly funny, just very goofy and silly. :) Your dog is amazingly beautiful! I love the patch over his eye, very adorable!

Welcome to our world, my friend! I've argued your points on the pit bull and postal worker in other discussions until I'm blue, no black, in the face.. they get very angry and defensive if you should so much as suggest... shhhhh... owner responsibility!

I agree with you on all your posts.. happy to back you up anytime! You love pit bulls obviously.. you just have alot of common sense.

Re: Beth, she's a rude and obnoxious person and will argue and argue and argue until you have no more energy. I've reported her a few times, so have many others. I refuse to allow a 19 year old snot nosed kid to be disrespectful to me. Sorry, if they don't want people to have an opinion, either post the discussion for private friends only or don't post at all.

Three cheers for you, Sherry!!!

Rainbow bridge is nice but it is even better they are there in heaven now, watching over us even ,maybe? but there for sure, based on scriptures and will be welcoming us home when it is time. They had no condictions to meet to go straight there, we do,just one, anyway don't let any preacher tell you they are not or that they have no soul, it is just different than ours. jc

It is easy to see you really love these bavies and I understand the hurt you feel for this precious one as many of us do. I hope it helps at least to get some people on their toes and we to be even more aware even if some , as are near me . think it is extreme,my pet pev , is when someone which shall be namless that is close to me says stupid stuff like ," well this or that, has not happened so far, etc" do you know what I mean...ugh, jc
