Six, the wonder puppy. Red & white Am-Staff.
Nine years old (in Feb. 09)
Was a rescue. Most loving and devoted dog I have ever known! Also have an old black and white cat.(also a rescue) He's the House Cow. Aka- Royal Fatness.
How we met:
Both were rescued animals in need of a Fur-ever home!
Pet likes:
Both like finding patches of sunlight to lie in to warm their fur! And both seem to relax and enjoy when I play something mellow on the cd player!
Pet dislikes:
The cow doesn't like other dogs or strangers; he hides. The dog doesn't like to be alone..... at all!
Pet’s favorite spot:
Cow sits on the ottoman next to the window to watch the birds outside. My dog sleeps in my daughter's room at the foot of her bed.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Six has a gigantic rope she enjoys tormenting us with! We had to find an industrial strength one that she coulnd't rip apart! Hard job for a pit bull mom!
Pet’s silliest habit:
The cow sleeps in between my knees every night to keep warm....except I can't roll over!
Pet’s sweetest moments:
These two have been together for so long, they will snuggle up together on occasion!
I crack up when my pet:
Catnip........need I say more?
My pet is unique because:
They are mine! Rescues are the best!

Hi, I signed the petition "maximum penalty for the men who hacked up a puppy." I'm asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. Here are the basics of the case:
Hardened police officers have been shocked by the horrifying torture, mutilation and brutal slaying of a seven month old fox terrier puppy near Mackay at the weekend.
If found guilty, they could face up to two years in prison. Police have obtained video footage from a mobile phone which shows graphic images of the puppy yelping and howling in terrible pain as it hacked to pieces with garden shears and a pocked knife.
They said the owners were too distressed to talk to anyone about it.
The pups nose was cut off, its front right leg and rear left leg were cut off and it was decapitated. A three-part video series on a mobile phone shows the dog being tortured.
The maximum penalty under the Animal Care and Protection Act for such an offence is $75,000 or two years in jail; however the maximum penalty ever handed out has been a four month jail term.
WE BELIEVE THESE MEN SHOULD RECIEVE THE MAXIMUN PENALTY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THIS SADISTIC, DISGUSTING ACT.
