I would get a loan from the bank. I would also make some kind of donation organization, but seeing you only have a week, I would stick with the loan. A note for the future: see into who you're boarding your horses with. Make sure you can trust them.…

Proud pet parent of:
2 horses, Majyk, and Nykki
dog, bugzzie,
How we met:
majyk, Dusttie Majyk, i met when she was 2 and she choose me. she is now 11, this girl is my way of dealing with everyday stress and depression. we have a special bond, that only we know. i got her when she was just a 2year old. At the time i had a 19year old apedix qh, Maverick. he was a good old boy, only had him for about four months, and he was my first horse. taught me alot, but poor guy was foundered in all four feet, and needed special care. although i loved him to death, and had no intentions on trading him. one day they brought in two new horses to the barn were i boarded and bought him. there was a 4 year old broke black mare. I love black horses to, and a 2year old bay, nut case. they couldn't do nothing with this horse. couldn't halter her nothing. They couldn't ever get near her after she was put in the round pen. So every one went in for lunch, i stayed out and watched her. i was leaning on the panels just watching, this mare comes over lips my shirt and runs to the other side of the pen. she did this like three times. then bill caomes out and asked me if i wanted to "trade in my old nag". so i thought it over and since he was older and more of special needs, i found it was better, to let him go were he would be better suited. he went to a riding stable for disabled childern. so i felt ok with that. not i have this crazy horse, that has had no training what so ever, and i have to train her. Oh boy. if i only knew then what i know now.... They said best way to train a green horse s with a green rider.... Yeah Right... i learned the hard way. but i got it done. of course to this day i wouldn't say she's broke either, more gentled... she doesn't like to many peopel ride him and if i'm not rith there then unless you know what your doing there isn't no way. She's my baby girl we've been through so much togeather, been across the county and back. And i wouldn't give her up for anything if i can help it.

Nykki, a 7 year old was a rescue horse
Sweet heart had for two years now. she came to me as a severly abused terrified horse. a lady bought her from her abusive owners but could not handle her, due to back injury. she was looking for something younger she could start fresh with. just so happened at the time i had a yearly colt i bought at a horse sale because i knew the owners were planning on breaking him already, and they use spurs way to much. so we made a trade. i took the crazy horse again. but this time i had more knowledge under my belt. Nykki wouldn't let anyone near her back feet. she would have to be sadatied to trim them. she had a large sore on her side from scafolding. poor thing was a mess the lady i got her from tried what she could but with her back it prevented her from handling this wild girl. its taken time and patients to get her were she is today, i can pick up her feet and pick them now. but only if she's not tied. she will tie but won't be still if you messing with her feet. her abusers would ties her back legs to corral pnels to trim them. her scars are still there. she was beat and over worked. now she's one of the best trail horses i know. i taught my 14 year old nice to ride with her. just just have to move slow until she gets to know you. i wouldn't want anything to happen with her either, we've gotten close, and she is a sweet heart. she's a seal bay, almost black in summer.
bugzzie is the son of my great dane who has passed.
Bugz is a real duffus, but he'll make you laugh. wouldn't intentoinatly hurt a fly. he once tried to play with an old white ground hog, but he gave it a heart attack, and it died, as he sits there staring at it looking like he could cry. He's almost ure whits has a few grey spots on the back of his legs, one black spot on his side, one under his eye one on his nose. and he has one blue eye. most white great danes are possibly blind, deaf, or sometimes both. Bugz suffers from selective hearing, acting like a puppy who weighs 120lbs, and only having one eye.

How has it worked out with the animals with your Mother?
I know did everything you could and last I heard by discussion was things were being taken care of. Is it done? How are YOU!? Did they follow up with their threats or are you O.K.
Haven't heard more and was a bit worried. Linda W

How to Report Animal Cruelty
What information should I have on hand when I make a report of animal cruelty?

Try to gather the following information before submitting a report of animal cruelty:

A concise, written, factual statement of what you observed—giving dates and approximate times whenever possible—to provide to law enforcement.
Photographs of the location, the animals in question and the surrounding area. However, please do not put yourself in danger! Do not enter another person’s property without permission, and exercise great caution around unfamiliar animals who may be frightened or in pain.
If you can, provide law enforcement with the names and contact information of other people who have firsthand information about the abusive situation.
Remember, never give away a document without making a copy for yourself!

Hi Alissa, I just read your post. Has there been any update on the pets and what is happening to them? Have you found anyone to help you in saving these poor animals? Thank God they have you to care about what happens to them.
