- How we met:
- Pablo was passed from home to home when his breeder got senile and her dogs were removed by Animal Control.
Baxter was one of over a dozen rabbits taken from a farm in terrible conditions.
Radar was found as a baby in bad condition in the park.
Bernie was adopted in 2000.
Rats were bred by me, my rescue rats have all passed away and I have many foster rats as well.
The chickens were all from a feed store years back.

FIV + Cats looking for homes!
A few days ago I responded to a CL add for FIV + cats that were living in horrible conditions after their owner died. I agreed to take them before Animal Control got them and euthanized them all.
There are ten cats. All are "supposedly" FIV + but I will test them prior to adoption. They were all living in a tiny wooden cage outdoor with no shelter. - They are all precious and so pretty! Do you have a Facebook profile? You might try posting there as well, in a note so all your friends can see it and repost/crosspost on their pages! Wish I lived closer! I have a Persian mix that was, I think, dumped on our front porch back in 2006 at about age 2 months...very dehydrated and malnourished! Her pic is on my profile.... = ) But, do try facebook, myspace , any other well read pages you can think of!
