I have an invisible fence and it works for my pug, who is very pain sensitive and very submissive. Training is very important. There is a beep that sounds and gets faster as the get to the fence. This beep is to warn them they have gone to far. If t…

Profile Information

Proud pet parent of:
Kirby (in my heart still) and Biscuit, my old guy
How we met:
10 and 11 years ago and never looked back
Pet likes:
Kirby loved his game of "Hot and Cold" with his favorite squeaky toy. Biscuit will let you rub his belly forever if you wanted.
Pet dislikes:
Bath Time!
Pet’s favorite spot:
Kirby's was anywhere as long as he was touching Mama, and also in the lawn chair in the sun. Biscuit loves anyplace soft and warm, or next to the pool gazing out over the water.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Kirby had his 'clicker' toy he used like a pacifier, and his 'squeaky' toys. He finally quit ripping them open to find the squeaker and just made them squeak. Biscuit doesn't have toys, just wants FOOD!
Pet’s silliest habit:
Kirby used to yawn sometimes by just opening his mouth half way. Biscuit will sit pigeon=toed and cock his head one way and the other at you.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
laying with his head resting on my foot (Kirby). and Biscuit rests his head in my lap.
I crack up when my pet:
Kirby used to just suddenly grab his toy and do wild laps out of the blue, then just stop. Biscuit trots around like a little horse.
My pet is unique because:
They always are my Boys; Biscuit aloof all his life, wasn't a puppy even when he WAS a puppy, and Kirby was a puppy till the day he died (Jan 10, 2009)

Cooper hated bath time too until... he had several baths in which we just feed him treats the entire time! If you haven't tried it... it may be worth while to do so?!

Hi, I signed the petition "maximum penalty for the men who hacked up a puppy." I'm asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. Here are the basics of the case:

Hardened police officers have been shocked by the horrifying torture, mutilation and brutal slaying of a seven month old fox terrier puppy near Mackay at the weekend.

If found guilty, they could face up to two years in prison. Police have obtained video footage from a mobile phone which shows graphic images of the puppy yelping and howling in terrible pain as it hacked to pieces with garden shears and a pocked knife.

They said the owners were too distressed to talk to anyone about it.

The pups nose was cut off, its front right leg and rear left leg were cut off and it was decapitated. A three-part video series on a mobile phone shows the dog being tortured.

The maximum penalty under the Animal Care and Protection Act for such an offence is $75,000 or two years in jail; however the maximum penalty ever handed out has been a four month jail term.

WE BELIEVE THESE MEN SHOULD RECIEVE THE MAXIMUN PENALTY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THIS SADISTIC, DISGUSTING ACT.

I joined to try and deal with the pain of losing my little Kirby, after 10 years, when he was hit by a car 2 weeks ago. I miss him so! So does his "big brother" constant companion for his entire life. My heart hurts so much...

Maybe. I myself checked out the website and they seem to be a great place, but the numerous amount of dogs in such a small seeming area does bring me to wonder. That's what I was thinking. I would much prefer to see someone coming on to the discuss…

More like New Years Resolutions to break for me, but I plan to spend more time out in the "real" word instead of online, and to extend my knowledge of horses/animal health. I guess it wouldn't hurt to pull my grades up a bit, either.
