My website or blog:

Proud pet parent of:
Rueger, Rylee, Baby Buns, Tucker, Bogey, Bonzai, Oobi, Emma... the list goes on... and on!
How we met:
Most of my dogs are recues, since we run a rescue. But my Cardigans are my one true love! We seem to pick out the "misfits", wrong color, wrong skin pigment, mismarked... ect. I would rather buy a cardigan that may otherwise have a bleek future than a show quality dog!
Pet likes:
Belly rubs, long walks in the woods, squeaky toys, rawhides, ripping the stuffing out of the squeaky toys, swimming in the pond...
Pet dislikes:
BATHS!
Pet’s favorite spot:
On the couch
Pet’s favorite toy:
Anything that makes noise or anything they can tear to shreds.
Pet’s silliest habit:
They are all very different, but Oobi "flops" down on the ground and stretches his legs out behind him like a frog... Also, Rylee stands in the pool and puts her nose all the way to the bottom. She walks around in circles like that till she cant hold her breath anymore... than, she starts all over again!
Pet’s sweetest moments:
Anytime they look into your eyes... you know you are truly loved!
I crack up when my pet:
They are all very funny... I laugh all day!
My pet is unique because:
All of our pets are very special in their own ways... mostly bacause I know they may not have had a chance without us!

Hi, I signed the petition "maximum penalty for the men who hacked up a puppy." I'm asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. Here are the basics of the case:

Hardened police officers have been shocked by the horrifying torture, mutilation and brutal slaying of a seven month old fox terrier puppy near Mackay at the weekend.

If found guilty, they could face up to two years in prison. Police have obtained video footage from a mobile phone which shows graphic images of the puppy yelping and howling in terrible pain as it hacked to pieces with garden shears and a pocked knife.

They said the owners were too distressed to talk to anyone about it.

The pups nose was cut off, its front right leg and rear left leg were cut off and it was decapitated. A three-part video series on a mobile phone shows the dog being tortured.

The maximum penalty under the Animal Care and Protection Act for such an offence is $75,000 or two years in jail; however the maximum penalty ever handed out has been a four month jail term.

WE BELIEVE THESE MEN SHOULD RECIEVE THE MAXIMUN PENALTY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THIS SADISTIC, DISGUSTING ACT.

Horse slaughter is needed. If you own horses and are dealing with the horse industry at the moment you will understand. The horses that go to slaughter may be dangerous, lame, or horses that are so malformed from bad breeding practices that they are…

Annies.. horse breeding is a huge problem today. Far worse than it's ever been. But you're right, breeders should know better but they don't. Everyone thinks their mare, or stallion is fantastic.. but they aren't. Most of the time lineage is average…

Just because you don't does not ean it is wrong. People from India do not deand that we do not eat cow because they do not. You are not forced to eat any type of food. I had a teacher who ate it and he said that it was interesting. It is both sweete…

Megan, the problem (and sorry, I know this is an old post!!) is that there is an over-population of horses because of breeding. Also, there are horses bred for various reasons and they don't have a chance.. think of all the thoroughbreds born that n…

I do agree with that. In most places I have gone to the animals were in no distress. I am glad the farm near you was shut down if they were. I was able to go to a Jimmy Dean saughter plant, and they slaughtered in the most humane way that I think is…
