Domino (a/k/a Dumplin), Rootbeer (a/k/a Rudy), and Peaches (a/k/a Peachy).
How we met:
Domino and Rootbeer are littermates/brothers. We originally got Domino for my son as a birthday present. Then about 3 months later we rescued Rootbeer after we found out he was being abused. We just got Peaches, our new lil girl!
Pet likes:
Playing, cuddling, singing, rawhide sticks stuffed with liver jerky (their favorites), swinging on the tire swing in the backyard and just being goofy.
Pet dislikes:
They aren't too keen on people on bicylces. They also don't like to be told "NO". lol
Pet’s favorite spot:
Anywhere we are!
Pet’s favorite toy:
Dom and Rudy love, love, love Bobo's and Peaches loves her chew bones and all things that resemble a ball!
Pet’s silliest habit:
Domino loves to stop and smell the flowers. Rudy is fascinated by squirrels, Peaches is just a little cuddle bug
Pet’s sweetest moments:
All four of them are just the sweetest, most loveable when they are either ready to go to bed or when they first wake up.
I crack up when my pet:
Smiles at me!
My pet is unique because:
They all think they are human! But no matter if they have two or four legs, they are all very important members of our family! The three dogs (Pits) are unique because they are Pits and the opposite of what most people think about the breed!!!
Hi Barbara- Yes, please keep me updated on anything. I am just so happy for her. It broke my husband's heart to let her go. He said the next pit female we rescue he wants to keep. I then went onto rescue cats from NYC all last fall, winter, spring. 12 all at one time. Then 6 another time. So, we have not done dogs since Peachy last September. He was very smitten with her. Then we had other things house remodeling, etc. and still all those other cats. Anyway, please keep me updated. And I want to buy that book she will be in. Let me know the name of it. Best, Elaine & Pablo
Hi Barbara- I am sooo beyond thrilled! She is so beautiful and we loved her so much. She was one of 5 pitbulls that we pulled from Norwalk, CT shelter within 10 mos. We brought each of them home, vetted, rehabilitated and rehomed. It was a pleasure to help her. I was unable to crosspost for a few months and lost track of her. I saw the pictures of her with your family. And what a great family you have!! I see she loves your son? She was that way with my husband. She would inch her way onto his chest to sleep. Would not take no for an answer. She was full of energy when we had her here last year. She was in love!! With my white german shepherd/husky mix. She would go off in the backyard with him and follow him around endlessly!! She must be that way with your males too. Anyway, thank you for telling me. Isn't there a book coming out with her picture in it? I would like to get a copy. Can you send me information on that? My email is petreiki@yahoo.com. If you need any original vet paperwork I can send it to you. We had her spayed on 7/17/08 and her age was estimated to be 1 yr and 4 mos. please keep me updated on her. Anything. Blessings, Elaine & Pablo

Unless they have a VERY good reason and its discussed before hand, not owner should leave for 8 months like that when they know they have a doggy at home. Heck my sister is always missing the dogs while were away and thats good. In this person's cas…
