Had to clean all the babies ( kitties) eyes again today, and "No-Tail" baby. well he needs to learn to clean hisself, it keeps getting really nasty at the other end. Still don't know why they all keep getting such yucky eyes. Wish I could afford to take them all to the vet :)

I suppose there are many reasons for the eye issues these beautiful cats have, especially feral ones. I hope this helps answer your question a little, I am sorry I don't know more.... :)

Your Willie IS a gem! Both the kitten and Willie are gorgeous. My Dani also has a swollen eye-lid issue in one eye which kept her from being adopted. It is chronic, and can you believe that kept her from being adopted??? From my time volunteering at the shelter, I saw every manner of missing eyes, ears, limbs, ailments, and that made most of them unwanted. I don't understand, to me, they are ALL beautiful! Unbelievable, so she was a small, ratty depressed cat with a swollen eye. And I was in love. Now she is well groomed, happy and still has a swollen eye, but is the most pretty daughter I could have. I am very happy your Willie's eye is fine now. :)
