Ginger a 2 year old brindle pitbull, and a 3 year old minature doberman (Bella)and a 1 year old rednose pitbull(Busheka)
How we met:
We got Ginger from someone who wanted to find a new home because they could no longer afford to care for her. We got Bella from a family who was moving out of state and could not take her with them and did not want to take her to the local humane society. We bought busheka from a a guy we know in boston, georgia for twenty dollars.
Pet likes:
All of our pets love the fact that they get to stay in our home(winter or summer). They enjoy playing together, playing fetch, sleeping in the bed with us( myself and my husband or one of our three kids ages three, two, and one). They love playing with our kids and going on walks with the five of us. They all LOVE going on rides in our truck with us but they have to be in the ac or with head out the window(Bella stays in the floorboard because she is always cold)
Pet dislikes:
Does not like being outside by themselves, absolutely hate when they are not the center of attention( which rarely happens), can't stand it when they have to stay at home when we leave.
Pet’s favorite spot:
On any of our beds, in our laps, or on the couch with the kids while watching t.v or reading books, and being in every room the kids go in( very protective of the kids, myself and my husband)
Pet’s favorite toy:
green gumby squeeker, squeeky dog bone(almost as big as her)
Pet’s silliest habit:
jumping on the door when you leave a room or the house
Pet’s sweetest moments:
when all my dogs are curled up with each other on my bed sleeping(during the day)
I crack up when my pet:
small dogs try to play with the large dog. They never last long
My pet is unique because:
Bella thinks she's a big dog and chaces everyone. Ginger seems to think she is still small enough to sit in my lap when in the recliner. When busheka trys to sit next to you no matter where you are she leans against you

the shelter is Multnomah County Animal Shelter. I will be posting some electronic records as soon as they hit my email box, in a post giving full details, along with the email for our state's congressman, multnomah county's chairman, and Portlands Councilman, along with Portlands commissioner, and mayor's email address... If I have my way, this facility will be restaffed and policies set to a humane environment.

I get a news feed ever day with several in need of rescue/adopted on facebook.com Check out petfinder.com for local rescue and shelters near you and I know you will find all kinds, even the Blue ones there.
