- A beautiful 9 year old female Ball Python named Anubis.
- How we met:
- My good friend in High School had gotten her from a friend and could not care for her, so she was offered to me and I gladly accepted her into my home.
- Pet likes:
- There is not an animal I can think of that I don't adore. My favorite pets to have are reptiles, dogs and cats.
- Pet dislikes:
- None!
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- She loves to wrap herself around my neck and just be lazy around the house with me. She nuzzles her nose up near my ear. It's wonderful.
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- She loves to soak in her water bowl.
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- Well, I guess she doesn't really have a silly habit.
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- Her most adorable moments are when she yawns.
- I crack up when my pet:
- Tries to get out of her enclosure, she ends up with her head pressed upside down against the screen. It looks hilarious.
- My pet is unique because:
- She is a beautiful, individual and wonderful creature that has been a blessing in my life for 8 1/2 years.
All About Me!
Hello, my name is Brandi. Above most other things I love animals. All animals. All of those pictures and videos that float around of innocent animals being tortured, injured and/or slaughtered sends me into hysterical tears. There really isn't much that can affect me as quickly and as thoroughly as the thought or image of an animal being neglected or hurt. I can't bear it and I want to be a part of the fight to stop this needless abuse, murder and neglect! I don't understand how some people are capable of hurting animals, when I had a dog I couldn't get frustrated with her without feeling terrible for scolding her.
As far as I'm concerned animals are just as important in this world as humans are and without the proper guidelines, restrictions and laws how will they ever be given the lives and care they deserve? We are the only ones who can speak up for these beloved creatures and show the world how important they truly are!

I've never seen anything like it, and I've lived in a variety of places that get ice storms.
And no one was hurt, for which we are incredibly thankful.
This ice storm reminds me of the ice storm we had in New England back in the 70s and we were with out power for a week. Reminded me of the movie Day after Tomorrow.
I hope no dogs were hurt during this storm.
