Have had many pets in my 18 years of life. However, I am only allowed 1 cat in my new apartment :o(. So I am the loving owner of my Tortoiseshell 1 year old, Emma . She is my pride and joy.

How we met:

We met the day after Xmas, my parents took me to get a kitten as a gift. We went to an adoption that they had at a near-by vet clinic. The Dr brought out a cage full of about 5 or 6 all black 3 month old kittens. I tried to hold a few of them, but nothing caught my heart. I asked if they had anymore in the back and they said they did have one more but she was kinda crazy and I probably wouldnt want her. As a rebel myself, I am not the kind to turn an offer like that down, so I asked to see her. As soon as they brought her in I knew she was mine. She was a gorgeous mix of mostly black, with gold and tan spots, and bright green eyes, my mom said we looked like twins. :o) I held her and as soon and i sat down she went right to sleep purring away, they said they had never seen her so calm, I brought her home a week later and name d her Emerald City Boyett, Emma for short. It was love at first sight.
