Daze... 2-1/2 year old Amer Pit Bull Terr/Lab/Sharpei Female
Forrest...2 year old American Pit Bull Terr/ Bull Mastiff Male
Kane... 2-1/2 year old Pure Breed Staffordshire Terrier Male
How we met:
I "relocated" her from some negligent homeless people
Forrest and Kane are both Denver Death Row Survivors... now living the good life in Sunny So. Calif.
Pet likes:
"The Ball", Bark park, Hiking, swimming, dinner time, snack time, going to grandmas house for snacks
Pet dislikes:
loud noises, anyone dark skin (your guess is as good as mine), and being seperated from her dad.
Pet’s favorite spot:
the bed
Pet’s favorite toy:
yes
Pet’s silliest habit:
yes
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When they are being the quintesential TEAM PIT-a-FULL
I crack up when my pet:
yes
My pet is unique because:
Daze was dog aggressive & people aggressive when we met. After a very productive and intense year of working together... she is my left arm and constant companion.
Daze is rather unique as she doesnt bark, dig, shred, poop in the house, get into trash, or any other common dog habbits.
Forrest was named after Forrest Gump for his very passive/ docile "way about him". Forrest is the very first pit bull/ pit bull mix to enter DMAS (Denver Muni Animal Shelter) and make it out alive. His is "The equalizer" of the group... breaking up spats between the other two.
Kane is the casanova of the group. He never met a woman (two legged or four) he didnt like. He is also my sensative and "problemed" child... but we are working on it daily.
sorry for mis-understanding u in flor L discussion

David,
I am looking for support in a fight for all pitbulls in Oregon. Over this weekend, Multnomah County Animal Shelter took in a pitbull with part of it's back leg missing. Without even bandaging it, let along giving it pain meds or anything else, the dog was taken straight to the temperament test room and given the test. So here is a pitbull in pain, bleeding all over the room and grumpy, but they want it to pass a temperament test to get treatment. This is rather bordering if not animal cruelity, and I will have the full records tomorrow on this temperament test, along with Multnomah County Animal Shelter's email address. I want these posts spread to any and all pitbull advocates that you know, I want the multnomah county animal shelter's email box over flowing with complaints about this treatment. I will also be writing the ASPCA myself, and asking for the facility to be shut down, and totally restaffed before being able to open up and resume operations. Please let me know if you will support me on this fight.

the bred for fighting I was referring to was the breeding in the 50's and 60's when dog fighting first started taking place... the only fighting they had any breeding for in the far past was towards wild animals before they ever came across to us... I"m going by the history file I have put up on my site, which seem to be the best compilation of what I have found out there so far... I know the ancients didn't use them for fighting...
wow i always said the news all they report is pitbull attacks not the other 1,ooo attacks by other breeds even if the pit is 10% pit th epitbull will be blamed un real thankyou for that video :)
BOY I know what you mean I'am not doing the same things you are, don't know how to do blogs and stuff wish I did, but overwhelmed trying to find homes for these guys, the 2pit girls, #1 mercy before it is to late , after all they been through and they kill them here if they get them won't let them go out. But Fernanda had responed to my post and used some of my words to explain it and I think it was confusing to some so that was all and I was confused as to weather it was my post or something else but can't find it now ALL this is so confusing to this oldie, learning at my age is a trip and self taught as I go is a slow process of blind and dumb leading the B&D, me. thanks for the wonderful things you are doing for the dogs and for allowing me among your friend list. the main thing that scares me is not only not finding safe place for mercy first and for love too, is not to find someone who really knows and loves and understands them, a pit special dog whisper of sorts. jenniecarroll
Chef David, being new to all this and still lost and confused, forgive me here, to which post do you refer?? mine or another? don't want to mis any to me I get confused with many of these too. ,and as you know, you sure have some beautiful dogs
A place for all rescues big and smalll and all walks of life to connect to post animals in need, transport info and more, Rescues, Volunteers, Fosters, Transporters
You and your cohorts are like a group of geriatric insurgents. "our site" please. And your threats are falling on deaf ears Dixie. ASPCA site and the "open" discussions are just that "open". The only thing a good attorney will tell you is to get off…
