Tick Janey, Violetta, and Amir

How we met:

Rescues. Violetta had been beaten in a domestic abuse situation, and the woman would not leave the man until she knew her kitty would have a loving home. Tick Janey lived like a hog, and crawled into my backpack, so of course I took her home. Her parents were brother and sister, and last I hear, neither had been spayed or neutered.
Amir is the new kid on the block, his mother was abandoned in Kansas and gave birth to kittens under a friend's porch. All kittens now have homes, and Mom Cat is now spayed and living in the house, not under its porch!

Pet’s silliest habit:

Tick Janey- looking like she is going to eat my flesh
Violetta- drinking from the toilet even after I have given fresh water moments ago
Amir- hasn't quite figured out "gravity" yet.

Pet’s sweetest moments:

Tick Janey- she LOVED my Dad, who I lost two years ago; she'd curl up on his fanny and purr.
Violetta- always sweet.
Amir- after a hard afternoon of playing and destruction, curling up beside me for a purr.

I crack up when my pet:

Tick Janey- gives me her evil look
Violetta- meows at a door where no one is inside (she is blind)
Amir- sits with his front paws draped over lower chair rungs, looking like a tiny feline drunk at a bar.

My pet is unique because:

Violetta- she is alive, loved, and cared for. I knew someone who hated cats, and he adored her.
Tick Janey- she's an evil little girl that you just want to kiss on the noggin.
Amir- I think he's sneaking out for coffee when I'm not looking.
