Please Pray for my Little Guy Bobo/Urgent

I just got back from the vet with Bobo. Its not good news. He has Hemoragic Enteritis, which is similar to Parvo but it is bacterial instead of viral. It is very toxic to dogs, and I had to leave Bobo for 7 days of hospitalization or treatment. They have estimated his cost of treatment at $600.00, so I have set up another fundable. The link to that fundable is http://www.fundable.com/groupactions/groupaction.2008-10-22.4075821126. The vet is Terra Veterinary Service, 1931 S. Jefferson, Lebanon,… Continue

Juniors Contest

First I want to thank everyone for helping us with the contest for Junior. If you don't already know about it, it is at The Tail Waggins Bakery and if he wins he would go on to the next round. Then if he wins that, he would be in the running for a $50, $35 or $20 gift basket from them. They make all kinds of baked goods that dogs can eat and they have some toys. The link to get to his voting page is: Continue

A New Year, A New Fight

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. We need to band together and fight the cruelty that our beautiful and gentle animals experience. There are just too many bad pet owners out there, and we just need to join together and get those animals out of harms way and make sure no other harm comes to them. I could never understand how anyone could hurt an animal once, let alone over and over. And the poor animal just comes back for more hoping that it will receive some kind of love. We

hope that helps, I havent checked the links in a while so if one doesnt work, just enter their name into Goodsearch.com or your favorite search engine.

Also, if you cant get help from these groups, see if your vet can take payments. Some people even have made bake sales work well for this.
Just thought I would post this in case you didnt try these already.
good luck!

Do you have an eye specialist in your town? I used to take my cat to one... they have much more training and might be able to do more for that eye ulcer. Sometimes they can be caused by another virus, like the herpes virus, like my cat had... and that has to be healed with different meds such as anti-virals instead of antibotics. Just thought I would pass that on... its so worth it to go to a pet opthamologist than to your regular vet for these kinds of problems. I know not all cities have them, but its worth asking or looking. If you dont have one, ask your vet to make sure its not that different kind of ulcer before sewing the eye shut.
good luck and do whatever it takes.
