A Scottie and a Westie

How we met:

Sadly, in a pet store. It was over a decade ago and I was ignorant. I often think about their mothers who were left behind in a mid-west puppy mill and as much as I love them, I would not have bought them if I knew. Ren, my Scottie, was stuck in that cage for over six months when we finally bought him at a huge discount like last year's purse. The whole thing is really quite pathetic. I don't support pet stores that sell puppies.

Pet likes:

Swimming for sticks in the waves of the Pacific and then sleeping for a long time.

Pet dislikes:

vacuums and anything that resembles them (strollers, rolling suitcases, etc.)

Pet’s favorite spot:

Oregon coast

Pet’s favorite toy:

ripped-to-shreds ball

Pet’s silliest habit:

Ren sings to Price is Right wheel, the theme from Frasier and Spongebob and a myriad of other weird tunes. Delilah's an excellent dancer.

I crack up when my pet:

Yells back at me when I tell him to be quiet.

My pet is unique because:

When I walk my Scottie it's like pulling a wagon full of bricks up a steep hill. My Westie, at 10, is a perpetual puppy who runs circles around him.
