Proud pet parent of:
Lupita, the chihuahua.

Lolita Kit Kat, the cat.
How we met:
Lupita was given to me by a close friend, she was actually born in Reynosa, which is a small city in Mexico.

Lolita Kit Kat was given to me by a fellow student at the university that I used attend, she was bound for a local animal shelter.
Pet likes:
Lolita loves all her cat nip toys, enjoys an occasional can of wet food, and plenty of treats. She also loves sitting and taking naps by the window.

Lupita loves her chew bone, her treats, and her plush shabby chic bed. She also loves visiting my parents home out in the country, where she is given extra attention and is spoiled!
Pet dislikes:
Neither one of my girls likes nail trimming time, though I am trying to get them used to it by offering up treats after nail clippings and also giving them paw massages.
Pet’s favorite spot:
Lupita loves her cushioned bed in the living room, though she loves the couch more!

Lolita loves the window sill and table chairs, basically anywhere Lupita cant get to her.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Lolita loves her carpeted cat tower!

Lupita simply could not survive with out her squeaky burger!
Pet’s silliest habit:
I think Lupita has a licking disorder, an obsessive compulsive disorder if you will, she licks everything and anything!

Lolita is too cute! She likes everything to be tidy and in it's proper place if something is on the floor that she disagrees with, such as food or clothes she tries to cover it up or drags it away.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
There are many sweet moments with these two, but my favorite times are our naps together.
My pet is unique because:
Just like anybody else Lupita and Lolita have their own personalities, and each is very distinct from the other. Even when visitors come over they can quickly tell who is the clown, and who is the quite one!

I began a student organization at the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg Texas, called Advocates for Animal Welfare. The student organization's beliefs and goals and very similar to those of ASPCA. I am also a vegetarian who enjoys learning and applying cruelty free methods of living to my everyday life. I live with my boyfriend Mickey, and two pet… Continue
