A white and black German shepherd named Juno; a black and silver wolf-dog named Grey Socks; and three cats named Lilly, Socks, and Tigger.
How we met:
All of our animals are rescues. I got Juno from a lady in Alma, AR. I got Grey Socks when she was 4 weeks old from a lady that had a bunch of wolf-dogs. Lilly was rescued from the human society almost 8 years ago. And Socks and Tigger were rescued by my husband from getting ran over when they were about 3 weeks old.
Pet likes:
Juno loves to play fetch and loves all the attention he can get.
Grey Socks loves to run, play, and eat! She also loves to just sit by us and relax.
The cats all love to play and chase stuff. Socks follows us around like he's a person.
Pet dislikes:
Juno hates medicine being put in his ears (for ear infections) and he hates being left alone.
Grey Socks hates being left alone as well, and she doesn't like anyone touching her tail (don't know why).
The cats all don't like to wait to be feed (vultures!)
Pet’s favorite spot:
All of them like to try to be in our house. Only Lilly lives inside, but we let the dogs in often, and they don't like to leave.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Juno loves anything thrown for him. He also loves to chase a basketball and can pick it up in his mouth.
Pet’s silliest habit:
Both Juno and Grey Socks howl when they hear ambulance/police sirens. It sounds like a wolf pack outside.
The cats are just cats...they're always silly!
Pet’s sweetest moments:
We don't like it when Juno jumps the dog fence, but my husband and I had an arguement one night, and I went for a walk. Juno jump the fence to walk with me and keep me company. It's wonderful to have such a devoted pet.
I crack up when my pet:
I think it is so funny when our dogs howl. It's so funny and sweet.
My pet is unique because:
Juno is unique because of his coloring. I've seen "silver" German shepherds before, but never full white shepherd with a black saddle-back. It'd be cool if he's the only one like that.
Grey Socks is unique because of her genetic makeup-half black timber wolf and half husky. I've seen many wolf-dogs, but not one with quite her coloring. Grey Socks is also extremely sweet and very calm-tempered.
Here is my mush whom everyone crosses the street away from when I'm walking him down the street....lol Reactions are funny, if they give them a chance they see this is a big MUSH!
Hey Ruth: I have been on here a lot. Sometimes I think I might be a pest. I have some pictures of our new puppy with her "elf"" ears to post soon. I'm not very computer savvy. You have puppies? If so, how is that going? We may try in a couple of yea…
