Thank you for your comment. I'm so sorry for the loss of Gizmo. I cannot imagine life without any of my little angels. I have a picture of Sasha #1. She was almost 15 years old. She was suffering with cancer, two types. As long as she wasn't in pain I refused to let her go but one day it just seemed like the time to do it. She wasn't nervous in the vet office like she usually was, it was like she was saying it's time, it's okay but it still haunts me. I keep her picture on my desk to this day and I still mourn her death every year. I have her ashes in my bedroom with a little shrine with a shelve dedicated to her with pictures, her collar, sweater, toys, her prescriptions, etc. I am sure it sounds obsessive but I truly love that dog and she was with me through some very traumatic experiences of my life. Thank you for the compliment and your service is appreciated as well. I respect and honor all branches of the service in particular the POW/MIA and honor their day, the third Friday in September every year.
