Can a spayed female dog still give off a scent similar to a heat?

They are all right. Please go to the Vet ASAP. When U say she did not do well with the spay, what did U mean? In other words, did an infection set in after the spay, or did she not respond well to arousal of alertness from anestetic, etc? Please kee…

- Mason was adopted from my co-workers son, he is the best dog ever! Mena was an addition to Mason could have a sister "sissy" as we like to call her.
- Pet likes:
- Loves belly rubs and ear scratches and meatballs!!
- Pet dislikes:
- Teeth brushing, nail clipping and ear cleaning. Hey, gotta keep them healthy!
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- On their dog beds by the fire place in the living room in the winter or on the deck catching rays in the summer.

- Kong toys
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- Mason dances and Mena runs and slides (almost as if the just hit a home run)
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- Every moment, I have to say though at the end of the day when it's bed time nothing makes me more happy then to see my two babies sleeping with their tummies full on a nice soft warm bed and them knowing that they are so loved.
- I crack up when my pet:
- Kisses me like crazy and when they play together
- My pet is unique because:
- Mason is my sould mate, he looks at me like he knows what I am thinking all the time, he gets me and is so loyal and protective. Mena is like me, very independent and has a mind of her own, a little on the sassy side!

- You should take a road trip and come to New Brunswick - we could take the pups on a hiking trip lol.. It is gorgeous here, especially this time of year when everything is SO green! How are things with you and the pups?

- Thanks! He's super silly. I'm so upset that since we got him it's done nothing but rain, and I just wanna take him thru the woods on a big hike, Hopefully soon! I can't believe she's only 9 months! That is just crazy! How big will she get? We took Max to the vet a week ago, and he is 96.6 at a year and 2 months.. He definitely has to have some mastiff in him, altho they saw pit bull when I had him there -regardless we just adore him. I brought up two pictures one on each side of the monitor, one with your sweetie and one with mine, and you'd swear they are the same dog... It was insane the similarity! WOW

And, whenever she wanted my attention, she would pick up her massive paw and wave and 'talk' to me! She was...so human, almost! I think that's why it hit us so hard. But...it's amazing how similar the coloring is on our pups! We called them Bella's freckles!

- Thank you so much...my partner and I have contacted the lawyer...who just happens to be a friend and a former District Attorney...so, it looks like we are on our way to pursue this legally. I'm almost finished making a memory box for Bella. We had her cremated so she will always be with us. Josh and I talked about slowly looking for another addition to our family; he would like to see what the outcome of our situation will be. Can't really blame him. I'm sorry I made you cry, Elizabeth!! But, I've got to say that all the support has really made my loss more bearable. I've researched the Puppy Lemon Laws in VT and NY...I'll keep you updated...
