Aww! She is adorable! Don't they have such a human characteristic about their face?! It's almost as if it burns into your memory just as your child. You'd recognize them anywhere!

How did you contact Jane Gunnell? I sent her an email a few weeks ago, and to all the breeders on the eastern side of the US and no one responded. Did you call? I haven't tried that yet.

Oct. 1,2008- I had told my parents I would be at their house at 630pm.For some unknown reason I left at 4pm. On my way there a van in front of me hit a small puppy and left her screaming in pain and crawling in the middle of the road. I was sick to…

I have a female American Dingo mix who is one year old. She is the sweetest most loveable dog I've ever seen and I don't just say that because she is mine. She follows me everywhere I go. Even at the dog beach she will follow me around instead of pl…

Elizabeth, She looks like one. I'd just go with it. The book by Jane Gunnell is about her experience trying to preserve the breed--and about their unique social characteristics. I fostered 3 of a litter of 7 puppies found in the wild near Memphis. T…

I love your paintings. Yes, I painted a lot of pictures. Some are in my cousin's art gallery in North Carolina. She was attacked by 2 pitt bull and I jumped in between them and her and both she and I were badly bitten but we escaped with our lives.…

No I am not wealthy by any means. In fact I'm on disability. Total disability but I want to have a purpose in my life.

I was thinking of doing that. I might this week.

I do. Only I didn't put my real name on it. I put Eydiemaire Moore on mine. For safety reasons. Yes you may.

Profile Information

My website or blog:
http://myspace.moorecreative.com
Proud pet parent of:
Leah, a Carolina Dog, Monica, my 6 year old calico and Winnowill, my 15 year old gray Tabby
How we met:
Leah was hit by a car right in front of me and the man drove off without so much as a look back. I stopped and rescued her. Monica was in a shelter in a cage waiting to be gassed as a 4 months old kitten, I rescued her. Winnowill chose me to be her human when she was 5 weeks old.
Pet likes:
Leah loves belly rubs, treats, playing with toys and sitting in people's laps. The cats love to play in boxes.
Pet dislikes:
Leah hates the garden hose, loud noises and people touching her toes. The cats don't like Leah but they tolerate her.
Pet’s favorite spot:
Leah, anywhere she can sit. The cats, on anything I'm doing.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Leah likes all her toys. The cats pounce on anything, that's their toys
Pet’s silliest habit:
Winnowill will carry socks or my stuffed kitty or rabbit either into the hall or on my bed and fuss at it like it was a "bad toy". Leah loves to sit in my lap and bark at the flies outside of the window where my big chair is..or anything that moves really.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
My sister has 2 basset hounds named Mugsy and Roxie. One day I was giving out treats. Mugsy didn't want his so I put his up. Leah saw that he didn't have a treat and instead of gobbling her treat down, she gave her treat to Mugsy, put her treat on his paw then turned to me and asked for another treat. No one taught her how to share. She loves both of them so much.

I was very, very upset and crying and both my kitties came and sat on me to comfort me.

My cats know when I am having a bad day. When I lay down and cry on my bed they come and snuggle close to me.
I crack up when my pet:
Leah chases bees and flies. Tries to carry two treats in her mouth at once. when my kitties have "discussions" about who gets to sit on the computer monitor with me.
My pet is unique because:
Leah shows her feelings to people. She has these deep brown eyes that speak to you and a happy grin that's always there.

Winnowill will have nothing to do with anyone but me.

Monica is always concerned about me and runs to find me when I come home from work.
I am now Painting for Pets in Shelters. I am an artist who does semi-realistic and abstract oil paintings and sells them for shelter donations. My list is as follows:
5x7-$10
8x10-$20-flat board
8x10-$25-stretched canvas
10x10$30
10x20-$35
11x14-$40-flat board
11x14-$45-stretched canvas
16x20-$50-flat board
16x20-$55-stretched canvas

I'm not very good at painting people but I can do landscapes, barns/houses, flowers, etc. My email address is ebodea12@yahoo.com. I only take what I need to buy supplies. The rest goes to 3 shelters. Winging Cat Rescue, Kuntry Kids Furbabies Inc and my local SPCA in Sumter SC. If you want to help save kittens lives, Winging Cat rescues saves kittens from a pound that gasses little kittens to death even though they could be adopted out. It's one of the worst kitten seasons in a long time. I'm willing to help. Are you?

I hope I have the right member that sent out the email about being attacked by pit bulls.
First let me say that I'm truly sorry for what happened.
Secondly, don't blame the pit bulls and DO NOT generalize that all pit bulls are dangerous. The blame lies on the owners who did not have the dogs contained. Also, it could have just as easily been another breed of dog that had attacked you and your cousin. Its bad owners and people who generalize that all pit bulls are dangerous that are costing those of us who are fighting to keep our dogs and who are fighting to save the breed. And yes, of course there are many of us that have pit bulls that HAVE NEVER BITTEN ANYONE!!!!!! :(
