I have a pitbull mix and she is wonderful. I am a firm believer in there is NEVER a bad dog just a bad person. Bad people breed bad people, so why can't we put them down?

god i am so sorry to hear that anyone is being threatened to lose there dog ,because of its breed,we all know that any breed,besides the dominent breeds,could also be dangerous,or a problem for the communtity,i have an 8 year old pitbull named sadie…

- How we met:
- Both Zoe and Zack were initially found on Petfinder.com. Zoe came from the Seattle Animal shelter and Zack came from the Seattle Humane Society.
- Pet likes:
- Zoe will one day be my agility/flyball champion, while Zack is ball obsessed. Both LOVE grilled chicken breasts.

Jen said… - I think it is great that the people around you are open minded enough to accept having a positive encounter with a bully breed. I love my dog and she is very people friendly and honestly I think she thinks she is the same size as my rat terrier- it is too funny to watch them play. Unfortunately where I live a lot of the pit bull/ bully breed owners are people who have them for the wrong reason. One time my husband and I were walking all of our dogs and this lady drove up to us and she couldn't see Nisa and said there is a guy coming up with a pit bull and we laughed because we had one too. The funny thing is the guy and his dog walked right past us and they didn't even look are way. I think it is great that there is a forum for pit bull owners to talk about the good and bad experience they have had with owning a bully breed. I know I try and set a positive example with Nisa and really all of my dogs.

- Thank you- I saw your response to my discussion I LOVE MY PIT and I had to laugh. People are strange when it comes to dogs- you would have thought that the lady that came up to you would have taken meeting you as a good experience and hopefully shared it. Your Zoe looks like she is a cuddle bug like my big Momma. I would love to compare notes.

I just do not see why the ASPCA Bitches as " I have heard them called" Just don't just post on their own site and keep their the DRAMA there. We are going into a new year maybe things will change and people will grow up.
