How we met:

Tilly was adopted from the local pet shelter when she was a kitten. Three years later she was returned to the shelter and I adopted her. She is 10 years old.

Pet likes:

mouse toys; visiting me when I am in the bathroom doing sedentary work; meowing from the screened window when she hears me coming home from work;; greeting me at the door when I come home; playing hide and seek with my other cat; hiding in boxes and grocery bags, napping in the sunlight; drinking from the water faucet

Pet dislikes:

the doorbell, strangers, especially the cleaning service with their vacuum cleaners

Pet’s favorite spot:

sitting in my office chair, lying down on top of a book I am reading

Pet’s favorite toy:

toy mice

Pet’s silliest habit:

chases her tail in the bath tub; dips her feet in a dish of water and licks them while she is eating cat food.

Pet’s sweetest moments:

When she licks my nose; when she bumps me with her head

I crack up when my pet:

chases her tail

My pet is unique because:

She has been adopted twice from the pet shelter. She knows her name and comes when she is called. She lives a life full of enjoyment, contentment and affection.
