- Proud pet parent of:
- Rex - a german shepherd (passed away, had cancer -which i suspected during the SUMMER and had to be put down in November) i knew he wasn't right this summer.... RIP the greatest dog ever
Tiger (aka mama kitty) - gray and white tabby cat
- How we met:
- We got rex through my uncle cuz he breeds gsd and when he had a litter, no one wanted Rex because he still had a floppy ear (which straightened a week after we brought him home)
We got Tiger from my grandma 11 yrs ago with its sister, who ran away and never was found. i think she ran her own sister away so she could be with us by herself
- Pet likes:
- Rex likes to play and have fun and being alpha of the family; new toys that squeak; snow
Tiger likes to sleep during the summer and curl up under the tree during Christmas season
- Pet dislikes:
- Rex hates strangers, other dogs, being told to do something (he likes to be in charge), being alone for long periods of time
Tiger dislikes certain foods, other animals, or being held. She'll just sit on your lap and be petted, but not held.
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- Rex loves being under the maple tree his chain is tied to during the summer because its shady or in the car (until we get close to the vet's office).
Tiger loves anyplace the sun can shine on her fur while lying in the grass or dirt, or on the porch swing.
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- Rex loves anything that squeaks!
Tiger likes to play with string if you wiggle it or move it.
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- When i pretend to throw a ball for Rex, he turns and runs a couple steps before he realizes I still have the ball.
Tiger's only habit is meowing and clawing while she's on your lap or belly.
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- When Rex and I are together and he licks my face and glances at me every now and then to see what i'm looking at so he can see.
When Tiger falls asleep with me.
- I crack up when my pet:
- Rex has a tendacy of jumping really high when you throw snowballs or toys and he'll jump and start to do a backflip or some other wierd things.
Plays with herself and she has a tendacy of jumping too or acts scared when she's not.
- My pet is unique because:
- Rex is unique because he eats apples, cookies, and zuchini without getting sick and he loves them!
Tiger is unique because she's the longest we've ever had a pet (11 years!)

she was slow to eat much the first 2-3 days..but i made sure she ate.

2-3 days of being mellow-pain meds-only 1 more 1st night and one next morning--but then..ok
slow in wanting to eat-but now: back to normal :)
