PLEASE HELP US! ZEKE & SUZIE!
I have been away for some time because of personal difficulties. My husband abandoned me, leaving me with no transportation, so no way to get a job. It now looks like he has now cut me off financially, leaving me with $20 to my name. I will soon be out a place to live and have only a weeks worth of dog food left.
I have contacted several rescue groups for Zeke & Suzie and am keeping my fingers crossed that I can give them a chance for a happy life through one of them. Both of my fur babies are wonderful dogs and deserve this chance.
If anyone out there knows someone who would like a wonderful companion(s), please let me know.

- How we met:
- We met Zeke online through PetFinder. One look at his picture and we knew he was our new fur baby. He was on the "urgent" list when we arrived... he'd waited a long time for us to find him!
Suzie Q was abandoned in a cardboard box with her 5 litter mates and left to die. Luckily, they were found by a very kind woman who gave Suzie to us. She has a unique personality and is always making us laugh.
- Pet likes:
- Suzie: FOOD, SNACKS, MORE FOOD. She loves cuddling between us at night, (her daddy is "her" human), her squeaky ball and her big brother Zeke.
Zeke: Loves stuffed animals, raw hide chews, belly rubs and playing with his buddy Coco. He loves his little sister but I think he secretly wishes he still got ALL the attention.
- Pet dislikes:
- BATHS and Daddy's being away from home.
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- Suzie like's to be anywhere her daddy is. When he's gone, she likes to crawl under the couch to sleep.
Zeke likes to drape himself at my feet under my computer desk.
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- Zeke has always loved stuffed squeaky toys. He would mother them until he'd loved them ragged. They lasted several months or more. Then Miss Suzie joined our family and stuffed toys became a thing of the past. Suzie's current record for demolishing a stuffed toy is under a minute. Now we stick to rawhide chews & several squeaky balls. They also love ropes and love to play tug.
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- Zeke loves to sleep at my feet and will crawl onto the lowest shelf of my computer desk and sleep there. He doesn't fit, so half of him is draped onto the floor.
Suzie LOVES a good meal... if it doesn't move fast enough, she'll eat it. After dinner, she likes to rub her face on the floor and will spend several minutes with her hind end in the air as she rubs her face from side to side across the carpet.
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- Zeke will frequently check on mommy if he feels something isn't right (I'm diabetic). I'll awake to him breathing into my face with this concerned looked on his face. If that doesn't work, he'll bark. He will not stop until I am on my feet.
- I crack up when my pet:
- Zeke will roll over onto his back and cock his head at me. He has a big smile on his face, his lip is hanging as he freezes. He'll wait for me to notice so I'll scratch his belly.
Suzie is a cuddle pup and will literally flop to her side as you pet her... she's fallen asleep.
- My pet is unique because:
- Because they are mine! Don't we all think we have the most beautiful, funniest, smartest, etc...? ALL pets are unique because they teach us what love really is!

God At Work
Today has been a day of seeing God's hand working in not only my life, but the lives of others. How blessed I am to have been called, to have been chosen by the Lord before the beginning of time to be His. He answers all my prayers and meets all my needs.

Poor little Clem died during the night. I can't help but think that he might have lived if only I could have gotten someone from Wildlife Rescue to help.
